Probably the best view over Mafate, the most wild Cirque of the Island. All the mountains surrounding the Piton des Neiges present to your eyes with their majesty. If the sky is limpid you will understand the geography of Mafate, with the trekking that bring there. Astonishing.

I'm lucky to have visit a part of this beauty by being a part of the Grand Raid 2019 race (Trail de Bourbon)...the terrain is hard and technical but the nature is breathtaking and unique ... The last day of our staying on the island we took a helicopter flight, and admiret the views all from the sky, I racomend it!!!

I lived on the island for 8 months and visited Kélonia multiple times - if I ever had visitors, it was one of the first places I took them. This isn't just an aquarium, it's a conservation centre, so yes, you get to see the adorable sea turtles, but you also get to learn so much through the information exhibits as well. Beautiful setting, good price and relaxed vibes. Brilliant for all ages.

Excellent expérience! Learned a lot. We visited with two kids (7 & 9 years old) and they got a lot out of it too! Our guide, Sophie was really good, great at involving everyone and helping all the kids there to get the most out of their trip. Highly recommend it!

It sure was our favorite. One of the best places for (safe) snorkeling for sure. The beach has trees on the back and there is a small restaurant there. Beautiful views on the sunset. Easily accessible by car and plenty of parking space.

The Aquarium de La Réunion is a private organisation that was founded in 2000. The aquarium is the result of 10 years of work by three marine biologists who came up with the original idea. All our fish come from the Indian Ocean. The majority of our fish are taken directly from their natural environment by our teams, and some are used in breeding projects. Our visit will take you through all the different aquariums which contain a total of 620,000 liter of seawater and represent the various undersea environments found off the coast of our island. As you visit our five different zones you will discover many of the species of fish from Reunion, the diversity of the coral reefs, and the fragility – and therefore importance – of this ecosystem.
Our visit to the Reunion Aquarium was a pleasant surprise. We had read that it was only so-so but instead found fabulous interactive displays, a huge variety of species and a great gift shop at the end of the visit. Unfortunately for us all the signage is in French, however this didn't stop us enjoying the displays and the short presentation "24hrs on the reef". Kids in particular will love the aquarium, especially the area where the large fish swim overhead.

Boucan Canot Beach is absolutely breathtaking. I found it to be the most beautiful beach on the entire island!! Perfect spot for picnicking or catching a tan.. Great tidal pool as well. Lots of food options on the promenade.
