Furnitureland South has over one million square feet of floor space over several buildings, displaying a vast array of types and styles of furniture. The goods tend to be high quality and include many designer names. It is a fantastic shopping experience to see things not found in typical furniture stores. Unique accessories are displayed as well. Prices are high, even in the outlet store, but sometimes a good buy can be found. The sales staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Many items can be custom ordered with a variety of fabric or colors available. It is a good place to get ideas but involves lots and lots of walking if you try to see it all. The Highboy Dresser is an attractive--and huge--eye-catcher. Sometimes the store offers special deals on shipping. They will protectively wrap items you plan to take yourself.

It is just a big chair. At least you can do some nice train watching from the shaded gazebo next to it.

This is a nice, large city park in High Point, perfect for a family outing. The park grounds include several large sheltered picnic areas, restrooms, 2 playgrounds, a merry go round, a train, a gym, an outdoor stage, a mini golf course, an olympic style pool with a maximum depth of 5 ft and two pipe waterslides, and a 340 acre lake with a pontoon boats, canoes, and kayaks for rent.
I visited on a Tuesday in late September, so it was very quiet and peaceful. Most of the facilities (merry go round, train, mini golf course) are closed until next summer, and the pool was drained. The mini golf course was very small and looked a bit neglected. However, the park and picnic shelters were open, and I saw one pontoon boat and a few people canoeing on the lake.
This isn't really a tourist attraction, more like a great place for a family outing or a summer hot spot for locals.

Okay first of all: the main photo listed for this place is wrong (as of 2-18-2018). There are several large sculptures of furniture in the area. The actual site at this address does not match the photo on this listing. The correct photos for this address are for a large black dresser with two socks sticking out of the middle drawer.
Secondly, there is no parking for this building. There is a tiny real estate office next door on one side and a house on the other. Since it was a Saturday, we carefully parked at the real estate office. If you visit during the week you may not want to do that.
With those disclaimers having been said, this attraction is fun to visit. It's not just a huge sculpture of a dresser - it's actually part of an office building! If you circle around the sides of the dresser you'll see that it's attached to the rest of the building and (if you were allowed inside) you could walk inside the dresser.
I knocked on the side, and it sounded hollow and light. Maybe it's constructed from fiberglass? Anyway it's a fun celebration of the furniture industry which brought so much prosperity to this area in the 20th century.

Kersey Valley Escape is a real world adventure game which simulates on line Room Escape games. In the game, 2-12 players are enclosed in our specially designed ghost town theme rooms. They have to rack their brains to solve puzzles and collect clues to escape from the room within 60 minuets in a race against time.
We had a wonderful experience at Kersey Valley. We were in High Point doing a service assignment for Habitat for Humanity of High Point, Archdale and Trinity for five weeks, and were donated this from Kersey Valley Laser Tag. The day was phenomenal and the people there were outstanding to work with. We would definitely recommend this experience to any and all.

We were there for a wedding. The building is very interesting constructed of large stones and timbers with leaded glass windows . If you can get in it is well worth the time.

I visited with my son a year or two back, and we had a great time then, so he wanted to have his birthday party here. Little did we know, they had all new equipment, including wifi-enabled guns, which were also much lighter than the old ones, making it easier for smaller kids to play. They also had a new surround sound speaker system on the battlefield that created a totally immersive experience for the players. It was like being in a video game.
They also had a leaderboard and app that kept all your stats updated throughout the matches.
Combine that with the friendly and enthusiastic staff that kept the games going smoothly and efficiently, and you have the BEST PARTY EVER!
Thank you Kersey Valley for making my 13-year-old's birthday party one that he and his friends will always remember!

The High Ropes Course contains two levels and a climbing tower. Level one has 19 elements 20ft high and level two has 19 elements 30ft high. Included in the ticket is 34ft high rock climbing wall. The course is designed to challenge participants and groups in great physical shape. You will need excellent upper body strength to get through this challenge course.
Took a group of teenagers to Kersey Valley for the High Ropes Course. Everyone had a great time regardless of physical capability. The instructors were super - fun but serious about safety at the same time. For your ticket price you get 2 hours on the course. It will take that much to go through all three levels. If the highest level isn't your thing, the lower levels can be repeated. Don't kid yourself, the lowest level is challenging! For the best experience, follow their recommendations to hydrate before and during the high ropes course. There are other things to do as well - corn maze, zip lines, pumpkin patch. Great place to get the kids (of all ages) outside for a day. The facility is just off of Interstate 85 so it's easy to get to.
