Van Ardi is a one of the premiere award-winning wineries in Armenia. We are a family run boutique winery, with a unique experience to offer. Enjoy a tour of our estate vineyards, learn about the history of Armenian wine, learn about how wine is made, and enjoy our outdoor patio for wine tasting and delicious food pairings. Also a great venue for your special events.
Astonished with Vanardi’s Rose we decided to visit the winery and get acquainted with the vineyards and other products that Vanardi is making. A nice experience with white, rose and red wine in a family owned winery having the opportunity to talk to the winemaker. We also enjoyed the view opening up towards the vineyards during the wine tasting. Great job. Thanks.

Armenia Wine is a modern winery built in the style of Armenian classical architecture. Located 30 minutes from Yerevan it is one of the favorite destinations of tourists and wine lovers. Here you can enjoy the charm of Armenian terroir and learn about the history and contemporary trends of wine-making in Armenia.
Highly recommend to visit, you'll definitely be amazed with the views, the taste of wine, history of the place and friendly staff - as usual in Armenia! Our guide Polina led us around the factory, everything was allowed to see, be answered about and even touch. Polina is a nice and friendly person and the tour with her is just like walking with a friend.I am not very interested in wine industry, but was engaged in the story and learnt a lot! Paying afterwards makes the visit more personal and warm. Can't say that it is the best place in Armenia, as all the places there are best, but it's undoubtedly worth visiting.

My most favourite place In Armenia is Mt. Aragats. Road to reach there is just awesome, so much greenery , and clouds are on you....seriously. You can click hundreds of photos and still not enough. There is a small lake and the views around are just awesome. You would just want to sit and relax.

Traveling around Armenia by car, we specially stopped in the city of Ashtarak to see its main attraction - one of the oldest surviving Armenian churches - Karmravor. Translated from Armenian - "reddish". It is believed that the name originated from the color of the tiles. It was founded in the 7th century by the priests Grigor and Manas. The church is small, cruciform with carved cornices, an octagonal drum, and the only one with an old tiled roof. According to an old legend, three sisters living in Ashtarak fell in love with a young man named Sarkis. The older two sisters decide to die, sacrificing themselves for the younger. One of them put on an apricot-colored dress, the other red, and rushed into the gorge. Learning about this, the younger sister, wearing a white dress, also rushed into the gorge, and Sarkis became a hermit out of grief. And on the edge of the cliff, three churches appeared - Spitakavor (whitish), Karmravor (reddish) and Tsiranavor (apricot).
