What can I say about Ames Silversmithing, they are simply the best. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable and not pushy. This time I had Isaac, who was excellent but that is the case , whomever you have. Jewelry is high end , they can walk you through so that you get exactly what you are looking for. Highly recommend

Enchanting, 17-acre garden with new display annually; inside find a live, exotic butterfly exhibit and gardens that change seasonally; private rentals available.
Spent a couple hours here on a cloudy morning enjoying the beautiful flowers and sounds of water falls. It was great to enjoy the butterflies also.

Came here on a college visit and really enjoyed ISU. We had never been and only done the virtual tour online. The virtual tour doesn't do this campus justice. A large campus set in a small town in the Midwest and a nice mix of old and new. After our visit our daughter said this is where she wants to go. We originally were looking at this as a back up option but we all loved the campus. Having done many college visits I would rank ISU right up there with one of the prettier campuses we've seen.

If you visit the Iowa State University campus, be sure to include a visit to the Brunnier Museum. They have a great selection of fine art to enjoy. Some pieces are permanent and some rotate so, there is something different to see though out the year.
