We have been purchasing maple syrup here for many years. Jamie, Sherry and all their staff run a traditional maple syrup business. For a 6 week period their are 2 more primitive ways of syrup making, 1. A traditional sugar camp and 2. The Kettle Boys make syrup in cast iron kettles over an open fire.

We went up to check out this garden because we had learned about their Bloomfest. We were looking for something to do and thought this would be nice to check out as we both love gardening. They have beautiful lilies at the back of the property. What I think is so neat is that you can pick out what variety of lily you would like to purchase and they dig it out for you! It was busy when we went so I highly recommend that if you want to purchase lilies during Bloomfest, go to the back of the property first, place your order for lilies and then check out the rest of the property.

Crooked Mile Brewery is an amazing micro brewery/shop with hand crafted mostly Brit style beers and ales. A fun little place with ample parking, close proximity to a great fish chip wagon (when last we visited) and a happy atmosphere. Oh and did I forget the beer? Stellar. HIGHLY recommended.
