Randomly stopped here after a visit to a nearby castle. With no prior notice, received a quick tour and wine tasting. Grapes grown fermented and aged on the grounds. Limited open hours but worth a visit if the time works out. French is the primary language so if you don't speak it, plan to use a translation app (lol, I did w no problems) :)

In the heart of the renowned vineyards betwixt the Alps and Lake Léman, Aigle Castle has reigned supreme since the end of the 12th century. The former residence of the Knights of Aigle, the nobility of Compey-Thorens and then the Bernese Governors, it has now opened its doors to one and all with an invitation to discover the Vine and Wine Museum within its prestigious walls.
Enchanted castle. Lovely surroundings. A real gem at the tip of Wallis. Nice to walk around and soak in the vinyards.

“Welcome to the mountains, Welcome to the playground that I have been playing from a young age. Whether hiking or climbing, in summer as in winter, this nature never ceases to amaze me. Helping you discover it, explain it and see you come out of it fulfilled and grown is my daily personal accomplishment. " - MATHIAS MICHEL, FOUNDER OF HTS ADVENTURE.
