Slip into Tralee pub on any unassuming evening and you'll likely be treated to a lively session of traditional music: fiddlers and guitarists and bearded laddies sipping on pints and jamming on festive old tunes. Ladies go easy on the brew, though - you'll want to remain in your loveliest, fairest state for the annual Rose of Tralee festival, which crowns one fair lass as the winner. Her duties? Represent Ireland to the world. No pressure.

Celebrating over 50 years of performances, Siamsa Tire is Home of the National Folk Theatre - Ireland's premier cultural experience. Visitors can enjoy a celebration of Irish Culture through the traditional arts - Irish Music, Song and Dance by Ireland's leading traditional performers. There are five different productions to choose from throughout the Festival of Folk which runs from May to September every year. The National Folk Theatre and its Training Academy were established to preserve and develop the Irish arts and share them with international audiences. I used always come here when I was a child when it used be called “Toby World” and I always loved it ???? I was invited to my cousins 6th birthday in The Playdium in September and I must say it is exactly as I remembered , cars , slides , ball pit, football area and a climbing section ????♀️ When i was younger there used be a disco room but that is now converted into a food area. A great little art area too for birthday party’s ???? At the birthday party’s you get sausages, chicken nuggets and chips always has been that way ???? great birthday cake too ???????? Highly recommend to everyone that has young children to bring them here ‼️

Myself and my family had such an enjoyable tour of this windmill. We were aged from 2 to 60 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Donal was our tour guide and not only was he a fountain of knowledge he was so funny and great with my 5 year old daughter. The tour is very interactive which keeps it engaging. There are some lovely photo opportunities afterwards of the windmill aswell as a lovely miniature train tracks. Would highly recommend a visit.

LOCATED in the Ashe Memorial Hall adjacent to Tralee Town Park, we offer a fascinating introduction to the Kingdom’s distinctive history and heritage. Winner of many prestigious awards, the Museum offers a wide range of permanent displays and special exhibitions. CASEMENT IN KERRY: A REVOLUTIONARY JOURNEY commemorates Roger Casement’s landing in Banna in 1916, one of the significant events of the Easter Rising to happen outside of Dublin. Countless artefacts on display in the MUSEUM GALLERY illustrate the turbulent history and fascinating archaeology of the county. You can even dress up as Tom Crean, Kerry’s most famous explorer, in the ANTARCTICA EXHIBITION. Become an archaeologist in the museum’s exciting tactile exhibition BONE INVESTIGATORS. Travel back in time and relive life in Tralee in 1450 in the MEDIEVAL EXPERIENCE. Dress up in costume and stroll through the reconstructed medieval streets and houses complete with the sounds and smells of the era - a treat for all the family!
Engaging, well thought out, clear and concise overview of Irish History. The interactive exhibits were limited by Covid-19

Nestled away in the heart of Tralee this park is one of my favourite places in Kerry. The rose walk is a gem and an emotional place to pause for thought. Birds chirping and children playing while I stroll around sniffing roses is a getaway from the hustle and bustle of todays world
