One of the oldest temple situated on the banks of lake. Please try to attend morning or evening prayer. Temple is small but the architecture is beautiful. It is walkable distance from lake.

Must visit place in Saputara. You get pedal boats to take with family and spend atleast an hour in the river. Suggest to go for boating in the evening so that you can have the sunset from the river. Capture the beauty in your cameras.

My favorite place in Saputara. The original sunrise point is a little farther from the parking place as you have to climb a hill which has a very slanted cliff on one side(left while climbing up). It takes around 20 mins to climb this hill..Upon reaching there the view is just mesmerizingly beautiful as fresh Sunrays of the morning keep playing on the giant canvas of sky.. Climb up the hill only if you are fit and don't forget to switch on the mobile light as you climb each step up.

This garden is well maintained. It is a great treat for botanists. The garden is huge. It is on the Saputara road and parking facility is available. There are restrooms as well. There are lawns spread around in the entrance area and there are plenty of benches where you can sit and enjoy with your family and friends. There is a souvenir shop at the entrance that sells items made of bamboo and wood. The highlight of the garden to me was the British era boiler kept on display on the left far side soon after you pass the souvenir shop. It was a pleasant surprise. It needs proper maintenance though. Club your Gira falls visit with this one. That will suffice.
