Changing Tide Tours is proud of the fact that, in addition to being the longest operating tour boat company on the Osa Peninsula and Golfito, we are also known as the ‘Premium Tour’ on the Golfo Dulce. That's because our custom-built tour boats are safe, comfortable and well equipped; and they are always manned by a professional, licensed Captain and English speaking Guide team. We are THE ONLY company certified as `Responsible Whale and Dolphin Watching`by the prestigious World Cetacean Alliance. Changing Tide Tours finds the cetaceans (whales & dolphins) over 95% of the time. Come with us and enjoy a fun, informative, 25+ mile guided tour as the Golfo Dulce (‘Sweet Gulf’) serves up its many “magical” wonders. Whales, Dolphins, Manta Rays, Whale Sharks, Sea Turtles, numerous Fish, and Sea Birds—all these have been seen by our guests. We are a local family farm, we do home made traditional chocolat and we share all about our culture, traditions, fruit trees, cultivations, animal farm and more !!!
This was a wonderful tour given by a beautiful Costa Rican family who share their chocolate farm experience directly with you. They let you and your kids participate as much as you want in the whole chocolate making experience. The guide Herman was very knowledgeable about native plants that he grows on his farm and their various uses and you get to sample many along the way. If you visit the Osa peninsula I highly recommend you visit this family and support their tour! Covid has hurt many families like this in Costa Rica who depend on ecotourism and I recommend you support a beautiful family like this over some ecotourism corporation.

I offer high quality tours of discovery, expertly designed to fulfill the adventurous spirit in you. Reef and rainforest explorations are edifying and exhilarating - and often hands-on! Corcovado National Park is a breathtaking site no matter how many times you tour its vast unspoiled beauty. I am located in Drake Bay, near to Corcovado, right in the heart of one of Costa Rica's most untouched ecological wonders. The Osa Peninsula still holds many surprises for those seeking to see nature, all Corcovado area can only be described as "the most biologically intense place on Earth" (National Geographic).
