I am not sure about when exactly this monument appeared in the city center but it gives a nice feeling of the municipality taking care of the look of Omsk. As someone who was born and spent a few years there I can see the constant "upgrade" of the city which makes me happy. This monument is a nice addition to Omsk sightseeing reminding of city history as well as of the whole period. Very sweet! :)
