The Museum of Religions is recognized by an original tower resembling the minaret of Jamaa Zitourna, a Tunisian Mosque considered as one of the largest in Africa as well as a church bell. Unique in its kind, this museum restitutes the three monotheistic religions in this one place, a sign of dialogue and tolerance. The Museum of Religions houses objects of collection, gravures, manuscripts, descriptions of rituals and symbols of the three monotheistic religions. Here, models represent architectural fittings of great fame, such as the Mosque Okba Ibn Nafi' of Kairouan, the Basilica with five naves of Damous el-Karrita of Carthage, the Ghriba of Djerba and the Chapel of Saint-Louis. The place is devoted to all the religions that have existed in Tunisie
It is great to see a museum celebrating the unity and brotherhood of those 3 religions. It is one of a kind, and it's in Tunisia! The highlight of that visit was the guide, AbdelKader, definitely. He is such a bright, clever and ever passionate guide who spent all the time of our visit taking time to make sure that we truly understand every single item of this wonderful museum. He even succeeded to get my mom to actually be interested in History :p Overall, absolutely outstanding!

Find all the beaches in Tunisia beautiful. The hotels keep the beaches in front of them spotless. There are normally flags denoting wether it's safe to swim or not. Be careful of jellyfish washed up on beaches after rough weather along with tons of seaweed, saying that you can walk for miles along the beaches and they are patrolled by police or security so felt really safe

A wonderfull archeological site on a rocky promontury with 150 meters high, overlooking the Mediterranean sea and the City of Kelibia. The fort and harbour at Kelibia are a history lovers favourite around Tunisia which help any visitor to take in some history while still giving a salty ocean breeze. The fort itself has Roman structures at the oldest locations with more modern constructs from the 16th century, a great blend of old and newer architecture. This site need much more care, maintenance, garde and cleaning. A must visit when you go to Kelibia.
