Every day, every season Cuesta Park is the right place to be. This park has a very highly-rated tennis club, age-appropriate playground equipment, fields for pick-up games, a Bocce court, individual barbecue sites as well as a large group picnic/BBQ area. It's never too noisy. There's plenty of open space and paved paths as well as an un-manicured annex where Great Blue Herons have been seen in the wild grasses. There's always plenty of shade and sunny areas. Groves of tall redwoods and green lawns flowing up and down gentle rises. The park is not completely flat but no area is hard to maneuver on foot, bicycle, wheelchair or stroller. The city hosts concerts some summer evenings; the neighborhood has movie nights and ice-cream socials. The City of Mountain View maintains clean public restrooms and water fountains. TripAdvisor asks when we traveled here so we had to pick a date, but we're really here very often all year 'round.

A rarity, and a true respite, in Silicon Valley. Offering something for everyone, it's the perfect place for a break from the office, lunch, watersports, picnics, or kid/teen summer camps.
This is a beautiful spot for a picnic or to rent a boat or to walk around the lake. The walk around the lake is simple, easy and beautiful. You can also go out to some of the back trails such as the Bay Trail and then the Adobe Creek Loop Trail for some easy hikes and bird watching. Bring a mask, it is usually crowded and a jacket as it can get quite breezy and cold out near the bay. Note: When we were there, at least, the restrooms were still open.

I go every Sunday with friends, rain or shine, and we are never disappointed. The vendors are friendly, the produce and other foods are always fabulous, fresh and well-priced. You need to go early as it gets crowded!!

Moffett Field is an active base and photo ID is required to enter. The Moffett Field Museum is a must see to relive the time when air shops, capable of holding more than five 747's moved through the skies. The museum has all military uniforms for all the services of the time. Static and interactive displays show life in the Air Ship era. EXAMPLE - an Air Force Uniform which copied US Navy uniforms. EXAMPLE - displays showing the magnificence of Air Ships and their tragic history is all in photo displays.DOCENTS are there to explain the displays and the flight trainers. NICHOLAS VERONICO was there and signed his book on Moffett Field for us. SPEND TIME - Talk with the docents - try out the trainers - read all of the information charts on all of the displays - ask questions. Take a tour outside to see some Spy Planes and listen to their history. SEE THE MAMMOUTH SHELTER FOR THE AIR SHIPS AND BE AMAZED AT THIS MASSIVE STRUCTURE. There are simply to many people to recognize but all of the docents are simply a wealth of knowledge and worth taking time to listen to their presentations.

Haven't been to this theater for many years. It was a pleasant experience to return to this Mountain View Theater with it's upgrades. The reclining lounge chairs are first class and the sound not overbearing. It's easy to park and being able to make a reservation on line saved time standing in line for tickets. Parking was easy to find, and it's close to the freeway. People are friendly and there are plenty of things to eat or drink and games to play. I definitely will be back again.

1st time at the Icon, to see Parasite on the big screen (not a huge fan of subtitles on the TV). The film was terrific - know now why it won Best Picture at the Oscars -and the theater was very comfortable. The typical reclining reserved seats, heated (which is nice), and with plenty of space for folks to pass by even when fully reclined (which is great!). Also appreciated is the selection of wine, beer and spirits in the lounge, which one can bring into the theater. They had sonething like 4 chardonnays, but at the suggestion of the bartender (because she asked for a dry wine), my wife chose a sauvignon blancql that she really liked (and a quite generous pour!). And the screen from the 2nd row (B5 & 6) was fine!

I took a walk at Rengstoff Community Park in Mountain View This is a very nice larger size park in the Mountain View area. I liked watching the birds and squirrels this visit, The park has a skate board area, playground, sports courts, a swimming pool and activity center. Children were enjoying riding their bikes through the park. The one odd thing is that many are living in trailers on the road along side the park. Just thought I'd mention.

A collection of model of desserts after which every version of Android is named like bourbon, cupcake, doughnut, eclairs, froyo, gingerbread, honeycomb, jellybean, kitkat, lollipop, marshmallow, nougat etc. Good for kids and taking pics. The Google merchandise store is close by.
