Liaoning (Chinese: 辽宁; pinyin: Liáoníng ) is a province of China, located in the northeast of the country. The modern province was established in 1907 as Fengtian or Fengtien province and the name was changed to Liaoning in 1929. It was also known as Mukden province at the time, for the Manchu pronunciation of Shengjing, the former name of the provincial capital Shenyang. Under the Japanese-puppet Manchukuo regime, the province reverted to its 1907 name but the name Liaoning was restored in 1945 and again in 1954.

This zoo is amazing and it is designed wonderfully with very good shows and great verity of animals and birds. Come early in morning and bring lot of food and drinks to keep yourself hydrated and energetic. This place has Anibal and birds show which should never be missed. Try to watch bird show in evening at the end of your trip. Bring comfortable shoes and sun hats or umbrella for sun. Don’t forget to bring good Sameer with you. Avoid it in July and August, if you have option. Because humidity makes things difficult, specially when you are with kids.
