The Yuraygir Coastal Walk is one of the most spectacular and diverse in Australia. The biggest challenge for those wanting to undertake the walk self-guided is transport logistics. Whether you want daily walker transfers and/or luggage transfers, or simply a transfer from the end of the track back to your car, Yuraygir Walking Experiences has you covered. This local business specialises in helping groups undertake the walk independently, when it suits them. Book accommodation (YWE can make recommendations) to suit your budget and group. Stay centrally in Minnie Water or Wooli (Stay and Walk Support) and they will get you on the track each day and pick you up to return you to your accommodation. Or if you want to stay along the way (Inn to Inn) they will move your luggage between your accommodation each day. You may even do a combination of both! This crew provides the flexibility to “Walk your way”.

Cardiff Alpacas is a family run business located in the beautiful Clarence Valley in northern NSW. We offer morning tea, lunch or afternoon tea with an informative talk, fleece demonstration, and of course the chance to hand feed our alpacas! We also sell quality handmade products made from the finest fleece from our happy and healthy herd, including wool for knitting and even pillows and quilts. As we are a working farm we do require 24 hours notice for bookings, so give us a call and book a tour today!
Strongest in my memory is the elegance of the alpacas as they gathered around our table in the sunny small paddock. Kathleen and Robert had made us a morning tea of coffee, tea and the best scones I’ve tasted in 70 years. After eating we were invited into the shed behind us for a demonstration of how alpaca wool is processed by hand. We were amazed at its lightness; perfect for filling quilts and pillows, and making socks, beanies and scarves. The experience of seeing happy alpacas up close in a lovely paddock, then watching what their wool can produce was good value for money and good use of our time.

Botero We are a boutique coffee roaster supplying cafes all over Australia. Our roast-house and cafe is open 7 days a week serving breakfast, lunch, and fine coffee. Come say hi!
Our breakfast was great, portion generous and well make and the coffee, for a coffee snob such as me, was brilliant. Definitely would plan a return visit or detour when we're next in the area

Our family camping getaway this year. Loved it. We had a caravan, mobile home and 3 tents. The wildlife was fantastic. We saw a massive lizard, sea hare and the rocks and shells were plentiful. No showers however the ocean was spectacular. Drop toilets were clean and didn't smell. We had a wonderful few days together.

Lovely area for families and friends to have some outdoor time close to the town. The park has a water way with ducks, which amuse adults and children alike. There are undercover areas - some have bbq's, and play areas for children, plus amenities. What more could you want for a relaxing time. There is even a gazebo where wedding ceromonies are often performed (weddings are also just in the park not in the gazebo)

You need to book through internet (covid rules) but easy, and means you don't drive for hours and find the campsite full. Road in OK for smaller vans, mainly tenting and small motorhomes. No showers, compost toilet, fireplaces, and a camp kitchen with gas BBQ. The walks are a real pleasure through the rainforest.

A great walk to the picnic area and Iluka Bluff lookout. Lots of birds and moss-covered logs. It was very peaceful and a very easy walk, in fact, a few people were using it as their run.

We drove down to Spooky Beach and were lucky to get a park. Really nice beach which was quite calm when we were there. Have no idea where they get the name from as it certainly isn’t Spooky. There is a Walk way that goes through the Literal Rainforest through to the Blue Pools.
