This is a stunning cathedral! It’s amazing, intricate, beautiful and awe inspiring from the outside and dramatic and breath taking from the inside. It’s sheer size and height is amazing and I’ve never seen such a wonderful set of stain glass windows ranging from the very old to ultra modern contemporary. It has a fascinating history and of course don’t miss the statue if the smiling angel. Now one of my favourite Cathedrals! .... and returning after dark (in summer) you can be treated to a superb light show projected onto front of Cathedral ... fantastic! Well done Reims.

Less severe than many cathedrals in France this is well worth a visit. You need time to enjoy the stained glass and the peace and tranquility of the surroundings. Suggest you visit here first before getting involved in Champagne tasting !

Definitely worth stopping by this church to see the architecture and stained glass windows. There are explanations in English about the different glass window panels, which definitely contributes to better understanding of their historical significance! There's also a lovely peaceful garden beside the church that make for a delightful overall visit!

I don't think that I have stayed in a more spectacular or atmospheric hotel than the Chateau Fort de Sedan. The hotel is part of the historic castle at the heart of the Ardennes town. The accommodation itself is very tasteful with all mod cons. You can even drive your car up to the top of the battlements and park outside your room on the sixth floor. The bed was really comfy and the shower was spot on. Hotel staff were very helpful especially in this post-covid world. Breakfast options were limited but that is the new norm. All in all - Highly recommended.

Called the Circuit de Reims-Gueux, this old road racing circuit is situated just outside the pretty village of Gueux, to the west of Reims on the Route Touristique de Champagne. The circuit saw it's heyday in the 50's and 60's with both 12 hour endurance races and 14 Formula 1 Grand Prix's. Indeed it's debut in Formula 1 was during the inaugural World Championship year in 1950. In 1954, Jaguar gained a 1,2,3 in the 12 hour race with a maiden victory for the D Type.
Great place to visit and just west from Reims. Unfortunately the complete circuit can't be navigated anymore but the start finish area with grandstands, pit building and tower certainly make up for that.
