Busan is Korea's second largest city. Tourists often come to this region to hike and to visit the Buddhist Temples located deep within the region's mountains. The Beomeosa Temple, founded in 678 AD, is perhaps one of the most frequented temples in the area and is always packed with worshipers and tourists. For art buffs, Busan offers several museums and historical buildings. If scenery is your thing, try visiting the Dongbaek Island, or bird watch at the Nakdong river estuary.

We took a bus from central Busan to the last stop at a place where we were approached by a man who asked us whether we wanted to take a boat trip around the park's coast. We agreed, and were driven to the port by a free-shuttle bus. From there, we took a boat ride around the southern tip of Busan. After the boat trip, we walked to the Park and explored it by foot and also took a train which runs around the park. Very interesting place to be, especially the views from the lighthouse.A lot of walking involved, so wear comfortable shoes!

We stayed on a hotel overlooking the beach and we loved the beach itself and the whole area. Lots of restaurants and bars to choose from and a wonderful beach to stroll along- plus the convenience of the compressed air pumps to clean the sand off your shoes afterwards.

I loved visiting Songdo Beach because its really more than a beach as it features a cable car, walking paths around cliffs, and a suspension bridge. Plenty to see and do and lots of restaurants and cafes here too.

Was easy to get here on your own if you are on a cruise stopover. From Busan station, take a metro to Toseong station and get out at exit 6. Once out, walk straight then proceed to bus stop of Pusan NU hospital. Board bus 1-1, 2 or 2-2 and it will take you all the way to the entrance of Gamcheong Cultural Village. Be there early or you will soon have many people in your photos which you would not want to. The sights are interesting with many artworks decorating the routes along the whole village and the colorful houses make the whole scene perfect picture shots. There are also a number of eateries throughout the village. Be warn though. There are steep slopes and staircases and would not be so friendly for the elderly. This is something different from most order tourist sites. Worth a trip.

Optical Illusion Paradise, Trick Eye Museum in Busan Trick Eye Museum brings a new concept of culture and entertainment space, where visitors can explore 3D optical illusion paintings and installations by “becoming one” with the artworks. Trick Eye is shortened from ‘Trick of the eye’ and refers to a traditional art technique Trompe-l’oeil that turns two-dimensional paintings into three-dimensional images through the use of optical illusions. Paintings on museum walls, floors and ceilings come alive! Visitors are invited to step inside Trickeye paintings and installations and create their own original stories.

Came with friends on Sunday morning for a little hike. Best attraction that I went to in Busan. Is not a tough walk, saw may elderly walk up and have their own party with food and drinks. Is a must visit place.

Was from Gwanggali Beach and opposite is the nice view of the bridge. It is better during sunset and when the lights are on. Simply beautiful. Enjoyed the night walk here.

Nice little spot in the city where the cherry blossoms bloom each year. There are some nice walking paths as well along the area. It's worth a stop by if you're near, especially during cherry blossom season.

We were staying in Seomyeon and looking for a relaxing green space. Busan Citizens Park was a wonderful surprise. This huge modern park is made with community-focused design principles, meaning that there are heaps of different spaces for walking, relaxing and socialising. The information booths have maps in a number of languages - there were no English maps on display, but they are available if you ask the staff. We spent 1.5 hours here.
