The scenery and friendly people in store and restaurants. We had all ages with us from 5 to 62 and everyone in the family enjoyed the trip. We all enjoyed hiking and sightseeing around the lake.

We were visiting beavers bend for the weekend and this was one of the events on our list. My 5 year old and I were able to be on the same horse and it was a great ride. Breathtaking views, friendly hosts and probably one of the most beautiful trail rides I’ve ever experienced. Highly, highly recommend! Enjoy :-)

We stumbled on this museum while stopping to pay for parking at Beaver’s Bend state park. We weren’t expecting it to be as big as it was. Really neat art displays and lots of information on forestry. They have a wood turners demonstration on Saturdays. We enjoyed walking through it prior to heading out to hike the trails of the park. Bonus was that it’s free.

This was better than I expected! We got to hold baby raccoons and baby skunks and cuddle. The fawns running loose were adorable and craved attention. We had the best time. My daughter in law was in heaven. Kids will love it!
