A great exhibit with fascinating information about the Chauvet Cave and the paleolithic period in France. The museum is amazing and the cave re-creation is unbelievable. So well done. This is really worth the trip to get there.

My partner and I had a beautiful time visiting Pont d’ Arc early in the morning (about 9:00). This was before any of the tours came past and it meant that we had the water to ourselves (as we had paddled our SUPs from our campsite). Even driving past the Arc is stunning and I would highly recommend to those who like natural wonders, just don’t be surprised if you go in the middle of the day in summer that it’s super busy!!
