A wonderful boutique winery. Veris Cellars Tasting Room is very interesting. There is one room dedicated to the golfer Ben Hogan. The labels on one of their wine collections show Hogan’s full swing sequence. There is another display of a collections of 18 bottles with the holes of Pebble Beach etched, one hole per bottle. Cathi was our server when we visited and she was very friendly and we enjoyed visiting with her. We also like the wines and bought a case of their JanKris Crossfire. The tasting room is very tastefully decorated.

The owners Family Sarzotti are wonderful hosts. They host generous tastings whether you make a purchase or not. That is unprecedented in the other surrounding as others charge for small tastings. Yes it is small compared to others but their genorosity is not.

PasoPort is a family owned Winery and Distillery in the Paso Robles wine country region. We feature port-style wines, table wines and distilled spirits.
We have been visiting Paso Port for many years. Their port wines are incredibly awesome and the service is excellent. We were served by Lola. She is one of the owners, along with her husband. If you love port style wines, like I do, then visit Paso Port. We have been members for many years. If you just getting into ports, then I suggest Ruby. If you are a port pro, then definitely go with Havana or Tawny. Yes, the ports are named after women. The atmosphere, the ambience....so quite, serene, peaceful. You just hear birds singing in the trees. Visit Paso Port. Tell them that I sent you....although it really won't mean anything!

This is one of our favorite wineries to visit and order from! The wines are always a treat, plus the winery has sustainable and organic growing practices. The tasting room and patio are wonderful and the team is always informative and friendly.

Peachy Canyon is one of the oldest family owned and operated wineries on Paso Robles' west side. The tasting room is located in a refurbished 1800's era schoolhouse on one of Peachy Canyon's five estate vineyard properties (the appropriately named "Old Schoolhouse" vineyard). We're known for our award-winning red Zinfandel lineup—including super premium Zins that are often produced in lots of less 400 cases each—as well as our Bordeaux and Rhone varietal wines. We believe in sustainable winemaking and are dedicated to "keeping it local." Our vineyards are managed by us, and all grapes are harvested and processed by hand by our team. Our tasting room offers a spacious lawn picnic area and a gazebo, not to mention beautiful vineyard surroundings! Stop by with a picnic and have a glass with us... Chairs, blankets, (leashed) pets and children always welcome.
We had so much fun tasting wine and chatting at Peachy Canyon that we joined their wine club. It is a lovely location and the people conducting the tasting that day were really fun. It is dog friendly too!

AronHill Vineyards resides atop a steep limestone overlook just west of Paso Robles. Here, Judy Aron cultivates eight acres of dry-farmed Primitivo and Cabernet Sauvignon, producing small-lot wines of natural purity and structure. The AronHill Bistro is the Paso Robles wine country’s dining discovery, where you will enjoy fresh dishes made from seasonal and local ingredients, all paired with stunning hilltop views. The philosophy of the AronHill Bistro mirrors our approach to winemaking: deliver full, authentic flavors by relying on the best ingredients, and by not overcomplicating what nature has provided.
Judy & Kathryn were the PERFECT hosts for our night of celebration after our wedding. The tasting room was expertly converted to the dining room, and the patio had tables stationed for our guests to enjoy their food and socialize. The wine was perfect, and our night could not have been better! Thank you AronHill!!

It’s no secret Italians have a love for the vine in their blood – Ron Donati is no different. In 1998 when he purchased the Paicines property his vision was for his son, Matt Donati, to grow high quality, unique grapes from the 9th oldest AVA in California. Soon, after rave reviews of the fruit, Ron Donati (ever the business man) got to thinking… good grapes make great wine. Thus is born Donati Family Vineyard.

Epoch was founded on a simple philosophy, to strive to make wines that are delicious and complex, seriously fun to drink, interestingly iconoclastic, seductively hedonistic, thought provoking and hopefully, most importantly, memory making. In a short time, we have quickly developed a big reputation for small production, hand-crafted, artisanal wines with abundant personalities. We produce estate-grown Rhone, Zinfandel, and Tempranillo varietals and our winemaker, Jordan Fiorentini, crafts our wines with minimal intervention in the winery so the most delicious wine makes it to your glass. We are located on the west side of the Paso Robles wine region on the historic York Mountain. We invite you to come taste the wines, visit the team and capture your own Epoch moment here on the historic York Mountain.
I've been to Napa, Livermore, Temecula, etc....but my favorite place to taste is Paso Robles. I've been going there to taste for 20 years+. I love it, and I've never had a BAD experience...but I have to say, this weekend's tasting at Epoch was the BEST I've ever experienced in Paso! Years ago when Epoch rebuilt York Mountain and opened their new facility (now several years old), my family and I were the very first people to step through the doors to taste. We were in Paso for the weekend visiting my cousin's family, and we were driving down the 46, and saw some Epoch signs. My cousin (who had been to just about every winery in Paso) said "oh, that's new! lets try it!"...so we did. As we drove up to the building, there were about a half a dozen people standing outside in the rain welcoming us with umbrellas. Turns out we were the very first group to stop by on their first day open to the public! So cool! It was a great and memorable time! Fast forward to this past weekend. My bestie and I were meeting some friends from the bay area who regularly visit Napa for wine tasting, so I wanted to find someplace special to take them. I recalled the space at Epoch being amazing, and the great memories, so I called and made an appointment. As we arrived and walked up to the gorgeous facility, Ryan met us out front with 4 glasses of wine! Well this was starting off nicely! He then showed us to our own tasting table, already set with 4 glasses each of reds, and an assortment of informative materials, and left us with Tom. Tom was THE BEST! We sat with Tom for about an hour and a half while he taught us so many things about wine, about Epoch, about local history, just a great person and wealth of information! So warm and engaging. My best friend who had never been tasting before felt so comfortable, and we were all just entirely impressed with his friendly, down to earth yet IMMENSELY knowledgeable and passionate disposition. Just a wonderful person overall. I can't say enough about Tom. He just make for an awesome experience for everyone! What an amazing time we had! I've never done a seated tasting in Paso, and honestly didn't really care if I ever did because I've always liked the environment a bar tasting kind of makes at most tasting rooms, but this was just SPECIAL. I can't describe it any other way. Additionally, the facilities! I mean, come on! It's just an amazing space with so much history tastefully retained. Just a great place to spend a couple hours sipping wine and exploring. Lastly, the wine. DELICIOUS! I find myself becoming more and more appreciative of whites, and although they don't have many, they are stellar! The reds are damn good too! I left with two bottles of white, and one of my pals left with an armload of reds, plus some swag, she loved the place so much! I'm in love with Epoch, and I plan to make it a mandatory stop every time I go to Paso from now on. PS I was a little bummed they switched from an open tasting to an appointment only tasting, but I tell you, I think that's what made it so special. There were a few other parties around, but it wasn't shoulder to shoulder at the bar, and it was nice to have some room to mill around and check out the facility. I don't think I'd like to do it any other way now! PERFECTION! PSS the price for the tasting was $20pp at the time of this review, and it is over and above worth it in terms of value! It reminded me of some $50+ tastings I've experienced. I would actually pay a little more if they included chocolate or cheese pairings as well. (you don't need to buy a ticket or pay in advance, but I do recommend making an appointment in advance as that's the only way to taste there)
