We were visiting for week stay during the fall and made the stop while out exploring the scenic drive. The market is filled with high quality local cherry products of every kind imaginable along with freshly harvested apples and pumpkins. They have food samples out to try around each product grouping from salsas to mustards to dips. We left with a great variety of wonderful Door County items to enjoy with family and friends back home.

Great little beach! Plenty of room to lay a towel, as well as sit on benches in the shade. There are sandy spots and grassy spots, and restrooms nearby. It's right in the center of town and has plenty of parking. A nice spot for our teens to hang out while we did some shopping.

Arguably the most beautiful, pedestrian-convenient and pet-friendly waterfronts in Door County...its southern end is a grassy park-like area with a band shelter and to the north is a marina crammed with boats of all kinds that you can literally walk up to. there are frequent events throughout the year from music to children's events to classic boat shows. Always very civilized and relaxing. You can sit on a bench at either end of the waterfront and just relax or you can walk to the shopping and restaurant areas nearby as well. Very clean and orderly...truly a gem.
