The largest of the twelve Dodecanese islands on the Aegean's eastern edge, Rhodes is also its most popular. The well-preserved medieval city of Rhodes sits at the north of the island of the same name. High rise hotels line the northern and eastern coastlines. Small villages and resorts dot the island's other shores. Whether your interests are beaches, bars or ancient sites, Rhodes offers an abundance of all three. Authentic Greece can be found in the hilly interior of the 50-mile-long island.

Beautiful crystal clear water I found puffer fish and Octupus AMAZING !!!! This beach is clear ,shallow great for young children and keeping an eye on them... Beach is the perfect size not too big and not too small, beds are priced reasonably, we were cheeky and asked for a discount, friendly guy said go on then it’s end of season, nice little bonus, the beach is narrow but that adds to the charm, very quiet and relaxed LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS BEACH ????❤️????????

Wow, such a spectacle from when you 1st see the castle walls on the approach be it land or sea. You need good shoes to negotiate the steep hill side and narrow streets, and there are many paths up to the acropolis. A short Que and 12 euro and you enter the walls. more steep steps and uneven ground all the way to the top. Lots of information boards to explain the huge history of the place, fantastic wonderment of how they built and lived in this amazing fort and then the views OMG Take your time on the walk up (and down) lazily wander around the ruins and soak up the drama. Fantastic.

Just love the short climb up to the castle and to breath the fresh air here. The most spectacular views over the Aegean can e seen towards Symi. The small cafe has excellent Thyme honey on offer after the harvest and is one of the best honey's we have ever purchased.

This is totally undersold, an easy-ish climb from the parking (coffee shop nearby for after!) and the views were exceptional. You can walk around and into the small church at the top, and also light a candle (donations can be left there too). There is no entrance fee, but should be!

Hospital of the Knights of St. John (Nossokomío lpotón) is one of the most interesting buildings of the old town and one of the jewels of Rhodes .Situated in the heart of the Medieval Town, Rhodes, next to the famous Street of the Knights, the Archaeological Museum of Rhodes (Hospital of the Knights) is a must visit attraction. Not only can you see a host of archaeological treasures and a real sense of 'the old Rhodes' but it offers plenty of shaded areas, perfect if you are visiting at a hotter time of year.

Largely rebuilt by the Italians this is a very beautiful building - lovely views from the windown and lots and lots of interesting stuff for history buffs - beautiful mosaic floors nicked from Kos. You do get a feel for how the palace was during the crusades.

Must be the best stretch of beach on the island. Nice drive down off the main road and lots of parking adjacent to the beach. Lots of facilities, toilets, beach bars, shops. Lovely naturist section at the end for a safe natural swim, 3 or 4 lovely taverna's at the top of the hill for lunch or dinner. A must place to visit if you are on the island travelling around
