Bosa is a town and comune in the province of Oristano (until May 2005 it was in the province of Nuoro), part of the Sardinia region of Italy. Bosa is situated about two-thirds of the way up the west coast of Sardinia, on a small hill, about 3 kilometres (2 miles) inland on the north bank of the Temo River. The town has maintained a population of around 8,000 people for a significant amount of time, but has an urban character that has differentiated it from other locations in Sardinia. Agriculture and fishing play an important part in the city economy, thanks to the river valley near the coast surrounded by hills and highland plateaus.

Gorgeous town, spent a few hours getting lost down the pretty streets with their beautiful doors and flowers all over. The main cobbled street is lovely, great places to eat and drink then amazing windy small streets up to the castle that’s at the top with great views all over. Be sure to cross over the bridge out of the main town to get the great views of the multi colour houses going up the bank After seeing it all head to Porto ferro beach about 30 mins north to cool over it’s a lovely sandy beach with good waves

Very nice small city with pleasant atmosphere and medieval castel on the top of the hill. The path uphill lays between houses with road of stone rocks and a stairway. It was very hot on that day. You should have much water with you. The view from there is outstanding. You can see river doing curves.
