Take a three hour tour of Bodega Bay on our 33' sailboat. A licensed boat captain takes you from the Harbor out to the Bay and then the open ocean. All ages welcome, everyone wears a life jacket - fun! Due to Covid - 19 precautions we are charging by the boat -

Had a wonderful trail ride with the owner, Sarah Beth. She paired my boyfriend and I with two awesome horses, Shorty and Calamity Jane. Had a beautiful 90 minute ride on the Old School trail. The scenery was so pretty, and the ride very relaxing. Couple of spots where we went down mildly steep parts of the trail, and Sarah Beth told us exactly how to sit on the horses, and we let the horses do their thing. All the horses are clearly well cared for, and many are rescue horses. Horses are paired with their riders based on your size and ability. Sarah Beth's border collie, Rucus, came with us, which just added to the experience. We would come back here in a heartbeat! Great for families and new riders as well. The staff was very attentive to a little girl going on her first ride on another trail, and they were very reassuring before she even got on the horse.

A rugged and recommended whale-watching promontory along the California coast.
It’s an easy hike along the top of cliffs with beautiful views of Bodega Bay, the coastline and the tip of Point Reyes Seashore. You need to stop and enjoy the views, there are seals(?) on rocks offshore and swimming, deer grazing and lots of birds. We visited on a windy day and the wind watery strong. Not a hike to rush through, you need to linger.

Challenging windsurfing beach located in Bodega Bay.
This is a great beach. It is easily accessible and gives a great view of Bodega Bay, the Pacific Ocean, and the surrounding landscape. The beach is long and the waves are pretty gentle. You can bring your dog, you can surf, or you can just stroll along the flat sand.

The Bodega Head Ride is a very low traffic road with large bicycle lanes in both directions. It is a 4 mile one way ride along the bay the entire time ending at the beautiful Bodega Head State Park. There are three other parks, a restaurant and UC Davis's Bodega Marine Laboratory to visit along the way. This is a perfect ride for every weather condition also. A great and affordable way to experience Bodega Bay. There is a full service Bicycle Shop with rentals at the beginning of the ride. Have Fun!
Great ride, part on the road and then up into the headlands to Bodega Head. Suggest starting at Ginocchio’s Barbeque. Pretty flat road road with not too much traffic around the inlet and then winding up to Bodega Head. Can get pretty windy up there but if you go on a nice days the views are memorable. Single track shared use paths up on the top take you around. I don’t know maybe 12 miles round trip. Nice!

Sonoma Coast Vineyards handcrafts wines from a unique cold-climate growing area west of the Russian River Valley and a mere five miles from the Pacific Ocean. We invite you to learn more about our wines, our vineyards, and the Sonoma Coast. Join us for a flight of limited-production wines in the tasting room, or seated outside on our patio, taking in the bay views. Make a reservation and indulge in a seated wine tasting and pair with locally-sourced gourmet cheeses.
The most beautiful place to stop for a bottle of wine on Hwy 1 while in Bodega Bay. The young ladies serving that day were knowledgeable about their wines. We decided on a bottle but they also shared a few tastings with us of their other selections. I liked the Red Wine Blend from Bisordi Vinyard. The pinot was pleasant, I believe that was from Peterson Vineyards. Stop by and have a bottle and enjoy the cool breezes of Bodega Bay.

A landmark from an Alfred Hitchcock film.
If you’re a Hitchcock fan, you’ll love visiting this place. We went to San Francisco in the early 90’s and took a rented car straight north through Marin County and just kept going. We stopped for BBQ oysters just outside of Bodega and then found the schoolhouse. We had no navigation or GPS, just a big map from the gas station.
