Bordered by the Kotorosl and Volga rivers, the historic city center of Yaroslavl is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The religious architecture is breathtaking and surreal, especially the emerald-domed Church of Elijah the Prophet and the gilded towers of the Assumption Cathedral. Numerous theaters, a philharmonic, a planetarium and a permanent circus round out the city’s art scene. Keep an eye on the time: Every hour on the hour, the proud namesake of the Monument to Bear statue gives a triumphant roar.

Hookah "Dym" - a cozy atmospheric place in the center of Yaroslavl, for those who love fragrant and smoky hookahs, good music and a comfortable stay. The atmosphere in the institution is available for business negotiations with partners and pleasant meetings with friends. Our hookah will delight guests with a variety of tobacco, a wide range of selected teas and a large selection of popular boar.
This was my first time coming to this hookah lounge and I've been to many. This was the best hookah experience I had in Russia. From now on DYM is hands down my favorite hookah spot EVER. The owner gave great service and is very entertaining! He checked on us often to see if we needed anything. Service is perfect and the vibe always on point. Recommendation: try the lemon mint. I usually get a mint flavor, but the citrus note was welcomed compliment! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a good time, you won't be disappointed. I will definitely be coming back. Awesome local spot!

Beautiful Yaroslavl style church with perfectly preserved colorful frescoes depicting the life of Elijah the prophet and the life during the 17th century. Has 5 blue green domes and a bell tower. Frescoes have scenes of weddings, animals and every day work. Also, there are pretty gardens around the church. Definitely must see church.

The Kremlin in itself is a lovely place to walk or sit in the sunshine (40r), but there are also lots of museums to investigate. The history of Yaroslavl region is small but interesting, and the 'Yaroslavl Food' exhibition - a display of how Russians ate in the past - is very good. You can see the bear tey saved after her mother was killed, and even feed her seeds or fruit. But the best is climbing the bell tower for a fabulous view of the town. It's quite manageable for most people to climb. Each exhibition has a separate charge so you choose what you want to do. There are other exhibitions, souvenir shops and a cafe.
