A great place for a walk and spending your free time. Near the sea and beach there is a vast forest park, inside which there are historical , military facilities. There are cliffs here , which are a great place to enjoy views . The proximity of nature and a nice place to relax, and those beautiful views with great landscape. The high cliff located here is the most photographed fragment of Gdynia and a really charming place. A place that you must enter in your plan for visiting the city of Gdynia.

Great place to sit back and enjoy some good food and mulled wine and watch the world go buy. Lots of bars and restaurants and some playing live music. A beautiful part of the city and not to be missed.

Located on the northern coast of Poland near Gdansk, Sopot Beach is famous for its white sands, nearby shops, restaurants, and other cultural happenings. The Baltic isn't known for its warm waters, but can be temperate in the late summer/early fall months.

We believe that the experience of the Polish road to freedom gives us civic energy even today and that the heritage of Solidarnosc (Solidarity) is still a source of invigorating ideas for Europe
The main exhibition gives a great insight into the latest history of the world - shows how the communism collapsed and how, in a peaceful way democracy was introduced in central and eastern Europe. Exhibition is interesting, it is presented in a modern way with numerous interactive elements.

This battle ship is a museum now. For kids it can be fun to go on board but for me pictures are enough.

Pier in Gdynia Orłowie is about 180 m long and now is a pier promenade. The first pier was established here in 1924 and was 115 m Five years later it was rebuilt and extended to 430 m so that it could also serve as a haven for coastal shipping vessels. The construction materials used in the exploded at that time a wooden pier in Gdynia. After World War II the pier was destroyed in a storm, and reduced it to its present length, ie 180 meters from the pier on the right we see the most advanced part of Holmes
I walked through Rwdlowo woods and along the beach to reach Orlowo pier. Although the paths through the woods require watching and the signage is minimal, the walk along the beach was very relaxing but slow going. Both the woods and the beach were among the highlights of my stay in Gdansk. Three odd feature of that walk were: firstly, seeing evidence of fires lit using forest wood on the beach and people scrambling through the fragile root systems of the cliff side trees; secondly, the woods are full of birds (woodpeckers... etc) and animals (I even saw a boar and her piglets feasting of windfall apples near where I was staying); thirdly, innumerable couples hold photo sessions after their wedding near the pier... which is either endearing or annoying depending on your point of view!
