Beautiful park and lots of trails for hiking/biking. Some of the trails run along the Willamette River and lots of shade. There's a historical Butte Country Store you can easily hike to. Nearby is an old homestead. Fun to read the postings about it's history in the 1800's. Plenty of tent/trailer sites for camping. They also have cabins and yurts you can rent. Plenty of areas to play frisbee too. Day use permit is $5

Experience the Beauty of Styring. We are a small, authentic, family-owned and operated vineyard and winery using sustainable, low impact farming practices. We handcraft small case lots from limited varietals that love living in Oregon as much as we do - Pinot Noir, Riesling, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon, dessert wine and port. Walk our incredibly beautiful vineyard. Meet the winemaker, taste award-winning wines, and tour the barrel room. Available by appointment only. Please call or email us.

As long time residents of the Washington state Columbia Valley wine region, specializing in Merlot and Cabs, we recently ventured south to Oregon's Willamette Valley for Pinot tasting. During our week in the Valley we experienced tasting rooms ranging from mediocre (at best) to excellent, with one at the "exceptional" level, Alexana, The tasting room is elegant, yet comfortable, and the patio is awesome, with breathtaking views. The Staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. The Staff member who seated us on the patio was delightful and she individually brought wines to our table, each presented with detailed and interesting information. We spent 45 to 60 minutes at Alexana with six tastings - the most enjoyable wine tastings we have ever experienced. I note that one reviewer has stated that the wines were "pricey" and that there was no cheese or food - we were not there for cheese or food, we were there for the wines, and the prices were very appropriate for the quality of those wines. The Pinot Noir, the Grand Blanc and the Pinot Gris were all exceptional, and we purchased several bottles. To date, this has been our most memorable wine tasting experience.
