Madhya Pradesh (MP; /ˈmʌdjə prəˈdɛʃ/ ( listen); meaning Central Province) is a state in central India. These temples especially the ones in the western group of temples are well preserved and are wonderful examples of the best temple architecture. One thing that is really unique in Khajuraho is that daily life in contemporary time is depicted beautifully in sculptures on the walls. Gives the best historical evidence of how liberated and equal partners women were to men in the Sanatana Dharma culture prior to Islamic invasions. One has to get over the superficial view of eroticism to get to the real meaning behind the sculptures and get the concept of transforming sexual energy into spiritual energy. A good guide with a spiritual understanding of the temple sculptures would be very helpful.

Its and amazing experience to visit M P Tribal Musium. I interacted with the batch of Manipur and Naga Tribes. Saw their Art, Dance and the way they mingle with common people. They are very loving in nature and were overwhelmed visiting Bhopal. Surely visit the Musium. The M P Government has created a platform for remotest tribes to showcase their talent. Excellent indeed!

An outstanding place to feel the serenity of Buddhist temple. A very well maintained monument site. The entry fees is customer friendly however the QR codes are not functioning putting extra charges on the customers. A must visit place for all the people who desire to witness the immaculate conception of the design and outstanding construction of the Buddhist temple and about other countries contribution to the Sanchi world heritage site.

This is an awesome place for a day trip near Bhopal. There are some 15 caves with rock painting from various eras of human history. The view from the site is great and so is the drive up the hill. The place is very well organised and it ends up being a small hike around the hill as you tour through the caves.

The fort presides like a grand old lady over the city/town of Gwalior. Man Mandir is stunning, and a local guide (who charged a quaint fee of Rupees 611) had excellent stories to tell. Avoid the sound & light show, just take a guide for your visit!

If you tell any one that "i will be visiting Jabalpur" he will immediately respond " You must visit Dhuandhar" this place is associated with the identity of Jabalpur. at "Dhuandhar you can witness the roaring water fall, with great velocity & magnitude , from a decent height in a valley of beautiful white marble rocks . witnessing this fall brings a mix emotions of thrill, adventure, admire for the beauty of nature. the rope way tour above the fall (across the river) gives an another opportunity to have a panoramic view of the water fall. if you are traveling with young kids and elderly people than be careful for the safety, and it requires a little walking . public amenities like washrooms etc. still need to be developed and maintained.

Ok, so if you are in city and have gone to Fort, you would get tickets to visit this place. The actual name of this is Sahastrabahu temple. Made by king to please both his wife and mother. Apart of the building there is nothing left there. All the idols have been destroyed and even the face of God on the wall have been broken, The only left what you see if the remainings. How beautiful this place would have been, can only be imagined. Remember there are no idols and hence this is no more a temple. No prayers or offerings are done here.
