Homosassa Manatee Snorkeling Center is located in downtown Old Homosassa. We are one of only two locations in the U.S. were you are allowed to enter into the water with the intention of interacting with a protected species while following all Florida Fish and Wildlife rules and guidelines. The Florida manatee is here all year round. Our tours include an adventurous boat ride with one of our very well trained and educated USCG certified captains, on the gorgeous Homosassa river. Where you will get to enjoy Florida's real natural beauty from the clear springs to the wild waters leading out to the Gulf of Mexico. You will learn about these gentle giants from our captains along your journey and see why these amazing animals are so magical along with all the wild animals. Its that time again!! THE LARGEST UNDERWATER EASTER EGG HUNT WITH SCALLOPING. It starts July 1st to Sept. with (two) boats available this year and two trips daily. The waters at this time of the year are luckily 85 deg and you can take your catch home.
