Surrounded by the dramatic splendor of the Siskiyou mountains, Troon Vineyard is a Biodynamic and organic winery located in one of the most beautiful wine regions anywhere, the Applegate Valley. What you'll find at our winery tasting room are wines as compelling as the views. Our Troon tasting room team, all WSET certified wine educators, could not be more friendly and passionate about our wines and sharing them with you. Surrounding our tasting room our beautiful lawn and gardens are perfect for picnics or just sipping a glass of our wine as you soak in the natural beauty of the Applegate Valley. We are centrally located between Grants Pass, Medford and Jacksonville and just a half-hour drive from I 5. It would be hard to imagine a more perfect day than packing a picnic and visiting Troon and our neighboring wineries in the Applegate Valley. Inquire about our two VRBO vacation rental located right on our vineyard both with panoramic view of the Siskiyou Mountains.
As a couple, we thoroughly enjoyed sharing both the Mixed light and Red Flight Win samplers. This was also our first chance to sample an "orange" wine, and Troon's Kubli Bench Amber, Estate blend was unusual and enjoyable!

Surprisingly large variety & tasty wines. Personable pourers and a very inviting tasting room with outdoor seating too! Definitely worth the detour off I-5!

At Wooldridge Creek Vineyard, Winery, Creamery and Charcuterie, we specialize in small batches of wine, cheese, and charcuterie (meats and vegetables) available only at our estate tasting room. As the first combined winery, creamery and charcuterie in Oregon, we invite you to visit and taste our estate wines and small batches of artisanal cheeses and meats.
This lovely winery with a scenic view down over the Applegate Valley would be a fine destination just for its excellent wines and its enticing patio areas (some of them covered) and a big fire pit. But what really surprises here is that this is believed to be the very first winery in the United States that also makes its own cheeses and its own meats too -- what a concept! Talk about eating and drinking "local." Wooldridge Creek is an enviable place, with friendly and helpful staff, where it is easy to wile away an hour or two in utter rural bliss, as we did.

Right off I-5 as you enter Grants Pass you can’t miss the Visitor Bureau in the right. There’s a lovely carved welcome sign with bears, giants and more. It’s worth the stop for maps, brochures and info in the redwoods, Oregon Coast or more.
