Cromer Pier, a heritage seaside pier in the civil parish of Cromer on the North Norfolk coast was designed by Douglass and Arnott and constructed by Alfred Thorne and is owned by North Norfolk District Council. The Pier is 151 metres (495 ft.) in length and was officially opened on 8 June 1901. Awarded Pier Of The Year in 2015 by The National Piers Society. The Pavilion Theatre at the end of the pier is one of only five UK end of pier theatres and is home to The Cromer Pier Show, the only end of pier show of its kind in the world. We are famous for crab fishing with the very best spot in Norfolk for the big catch, it’s a great way to relax and connect with nature for all the family. Grab a bite to eat above the waves with our Mediterranean inspired menu in Tides, enjoy a glass or two on our unique quarterdeck patio and pop into our perfectly stocked gift shop and take a piece of Cromer home with you.
We’re regulars to Cromer End of the Pier Show and it really is the highlight of our year both summer and Christmas. Proper family entertainment and a variety show with a great mix of comedy, magic, dance and singing from a very talented cast. Meeting the cast afterwards in the foyer is also a lovely touch.

UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP FROM 22/09/17 NOW A FAMILY RUN BUSINESS! We are a 500 mtr outdoor tarmac track, we use Biz Le Man 200cc karts and 160cc cadet karts. We have a new Coffee shop and cafe on site which sells fresh coffee and freshly made food. Also we have a vending machine for cold drinks and snacks. There is a heated indoor viewing area for those cold days and a upstairs decked area for the summer days. We do Practice Sessions, Grand Prix,Stag and Hen Events,Private Track Hire and Youth Club.
We visited today with our 8 year old Son and had a brilliant time. The staff went to great lengths to explain everything and ensure that he was fully aware of the controls and meanings of the flags during the safety briefing and before we were allowed onto the track. I will admit to feeling a bit nervous seeing him shoot out of the pits in a kart that can do 45mph but needn't have worried as I then tried desperately to keep up (and often failed) to overtake him. The wet track was a challenge, but made for some strictly come dancing inspired pirouettes. Unfortunately our sessions came to an end as the track was starting to dry out and lap times were dcreasing. The management and staff have clearly put a great deal of effort and time into making the site safe for everyone with clearly marked lanes and walkways when moving around the building for getting kitted out and briefed. An excellent treat, we will return next time we are nearby.

This is an active RNLI lifeboat station that is free to visit, but open to the public and donations can be made. From the large viewing gallery you can see a Tamar class lifeboat close too, unfortunately unless it is an open day (about 2 a year) or lifeboat day (22nd July 2018) you cannot get onboard. In the next few months we hope to improve the facilities and offer visitors an insight of the boat via pictures and videos.
Very interesting visit - good to see the history of the lifeboat station and the rescues that have been undertaken. Small gift shop that all benefits go to lifeboats.

The Parish Church was built in the 15th Century and was extensively restored in the late 19th Century. Today, it's home to a large congregation with friendly, relaxed and contemporary services in a variety of styles. Visitors are welcome at all services. The building is open every day from about 9.00 a.m. until about 5.00 p.m. There is no charge and you are welcome to enjoy the building and to use it as a place of peace, quiet and prayer.
This beautiful old Church caught our attention the minute we drove into Cromer. All the graves on the right side of the Church had garden beds of beautiful red and white petunias (I think). Just stunning. We searched out the Public Car Park to enable a visit to the Church itself. The Parishioners run a very professional Coffee and Religious style Gift Shop inside the Church, all very respectful and it was very popular and well done. The Church is beautiful and had quiet sections for prayer and the stained windows of note and oldest parts of the Church were well advised of.

The museum tells incredible stories of Cromer men putting their lives in danger to rescue strangers from the sea. You will find interviews with crew members, 'kit' to try on for yourself, model boats, Morse code practice and more in this super, family-friendly museum.
We decided to go to the Museum to get out of the rain, and we are so glad we did! It was a lovely museum, with things to do for our daughter as well, well worth the visit It was great to look around, and see everything they had on display! There was a Morse code machine to try, coats/hats etc for the children to try on, and light signals and other bits that our young daughter loved! The staff were friendly, and even helped my daughter make a bookmark to take home with her! I would definitely go again!

If you are in and around this part of the coast the beach here at East Runton is one you will not be disappointed by. There are cliffs so be warned don't let you children play on them. The slipway down to the beach can be classed as steep. There are a few seats at the top of the slipway if you don't want to risk the slipway the views are fantastic looking towards Cromer and the Pier.
