The Porsche Experience Centre is situated at Silverstone Circuit, the home of British motorsport, in the heart of England. Located next to Hangar Straight, we are on the site of the WRC Rally of Great Britain Special Stage used in the late 1990s. The specially designed track incorporates six elements; Handling Circuit, The Straights, Kick Plate, Ice Hill, Low Friction and Off-Road circuits. This environment enables visitors to be guided through a variety of different situations in wet and dry conditions, as well as simulating ice and snow driving with the use of specially constructed surfaces. The driving experiences are designed to focus on a particular type of driving, model of Porsche or driving environment. Whether you are hoping to attain new skills, polish up some old ones or just have a great time driving, we can help find the right experience for you.
Had an excellent day at the Porsche Driving Experience. Hosted by Kay and Keith who were great fun and out us both at ease in the cars. Food was nice and the driving experience was brilliant; Kat was a great instructor and made me feel like I wasn’t a complete duffer. At the end of the day Kat drove me around the track and she is an amazing driver and I realized that I had been pootling around the track in reality. Can’t recommend the day enough and will be back again.

Art & Craft Studio running workshops in Stained Glass Art, Glass Fusion/Inclusion, Encaustic Wax, Painting & Drawing for Beginners, Mixed media, Textile Sculpture, Printing without a press. Great student/teacher ratio. Full day workshops lunch include. And all the materials required for your chosen workshops are included too – and you get to take home everything you make!!
Did a series of evening classes with my wife and friends, learning how to make leaded glass panels. Right from the start Mike and Jenny made us feel welcome. They explained each stage of the process and all the new skills needed simply with demonstrations of what to do, and what not to do! They helped when we got it wrong and we all came away with a nice piece to display. They made it fun all the way, supplied all the tools and materials plus tea and biscuits. What more could you ask?

Towcester is a great little town to explore with lots of cute cafes and little shops down historical alleyways and set inside old buildings. The Towcester museum is just off the main high street and there is a nearby car park which is free and usually always has spaces so its really easy to get to! The museum itself is very reasonable in price at £3.50pp and we definitely spent an hour in there reading and looking around the gift shop. The shops has lots of cute things for kids and adults, lots of decent books too from local historians which is always nice to see. Of youre local to Towcester and have ever wondered about the history of your area then this is a great little place to have a look around. The Towcester trail maps from the museum are also handy as we used it to explore the town afterwards!

Recently refurbished this lovely village pub is the hub of the community. Serving great beers and home cooked food it also hosts a small community shop. Serves lunches and dinners as well as takeaways every day. A warm welcome is always on offer so come and say hello
Great music friendly pub under wonderful new management navigating through the Covid 19 Lockdown nightmare! Beer and atmosphere great when it was fully open. Great takeaway food is still available. Can thoroughly recommend the Friday Fish n chips and the gluten free pies are to die for!

We are a small independent brewery and tap room with a large garden based in the old Towcester Mill which is set in the heart of Towcester in south Northamptonshire.
John was knowledgable and interesting to listen to. An interactive experience with opportunities to feel, taste and smell the ingredients used in the brewing process followed by 3 different beers to taste and sample with appropriate accompanying food. Only very small downside is that the carpark outside is pay and display for a maximum of two hours.

Silverstone Interactive Museum is an immersive museum telling the story of the past, present and future of British motor racing. Packed with over 60 interactive elements, visitors will enjoy sitting in a replica grand prix car, learning to pilot a WW2 plane and experiencing the Ultimate Lap of Silverstone in our 360-degree cinema experience as part of their 2.5hour visit.
I would recommend this experience to anyone that has the opportunity to visit. I phoned prior to booking due to a couple of issues and all the staff I spoke to before and during my trip made me feel welcome throughout, they were all extremely friendly and helpful. As for the actual experience it's really well laid out with loads to see and do for all ages, you get to learn about the history of Silverstone and see so many different aspects of racing, the displays and information are clear and informative and there's almost too much to see in one go. There's also the added bonus of the heritage trail to walk on an old part of the circuit and if you're really lucky you might get to see some on track racing. Highly recommended ????

One hour in the pool when the flames/wave is operating for the grandchildren. Really nice pool with a shallower pool for younger children and the main pool for more confident swimmers. Our grandsons love coming here. It always seems very clean and well organised.

My friend and I have been going to Whittlebury for years every September and were so excited when it re-opened that we decided to book a spa stay and a day spa package for over two days. The spa has done an excellent job of getting all the covid stuff in place and from the moment you arrive and are given some green tea and a chat about your day everything from treatments, lunch/brunch, heat and ice and leisure pool activities are all timed. It works really well and no part of the spa is over crowded or do they rush you thru treatments For our spa stay package I had a Inner calm massage and Elemis Superfood facial and both treatments were by the same girl, Paula (I hope I got her name right) and she had me in LaLa land by end of massage and by time she finished my facial I was in GaGa land. I loved the fact that she took time to talk thru products used and what type of skin I had and what would be good for my skin. The brunch and lunch meals are way better than what they had before. We managed to bag ourselves 30 mins in the tranquility pods which are the relaxing hot water beds but this time they are in one of the treatment rooms and that was wonderful. With our stay package we were booked into one of the suites and OMG what a fantastic set of rooms. We had a living/dining room, huge bedroom and massive bathroom with a spa bath. Also waiting for us was a nice chilled bottle of champagne well what a way to start a night off. Included in our package was dinner in Murrays restaurant (we've eaten in here before) and it did not disappoint. Fantastic food and very much like being in a posh restaurant in London. Next morning we had breakfast the headed for our day spa package. Same routine as day before with everything timed. Had a nourishing milk wrap followed by the most divine head, neck, shoulder and facial massage. instead of spending 2 hours in leisure pool we were very lucky to get an hour in the tranquility pods as the spa was very quiet on the Sunday. We also spent an hour relaxing after our treatments. In the afternoon we attended an ESPA mindfulness talk and the girl doing the talk was excellent and so informative. She took us thru a relaxing meditation and then facial all with ESPA products, Unfortunately my skin did not take to the ESPA products but the girl immediately helped me cleanse my face and get the products off, she truly was very helpful. We ended our day in the heat and ice hydra pool before heading home all chilled and relaxed. The whole set up at present in the spa is wonderful, the girls in the spa were fantastic and took lots of time to make sure you were enjoying your day and helping you choose products, we had £70 credit over the two days to spend and got some nice body and skin care products. It made a big difference from our visit last year as the therapists spent so much more time with you doing your treatments and talking thru products used and leaving you feeling like you were not being rushed thru as they needed to get to next customer. One of the biggest changes and best changes was the heat & ice not being over crowded you could get into pool and use it properly even with the sauna and steam rooms not available. Previous years the heat & ice has become unbearable due to too many people being in it and people not being able to get full benefit of it. With the new covid set up I hope when things return to some sort of normality that they can keep something like this going as it works and you get more quality time in heat & ice and with your therapist and enjoy treatments more. All in all we had a fantastic time and will be back very soon
