Surround yourself with fashion, food, and fun with the most distinctive collection of shopping, dining and entertainment. Woodfield has the finest collection of department stores and specialty shops in the Great Lakes region including Nordstrom, Macy's, Lord & Taylor, jcpenney, Sears and nearly 300 stores and restaurants.
Woodfield has always been a mall to visit once or twice a year as it is pretty far from my home. Besides the mall, there are a lot of good stores in the area as well as great restaurants so you can wander after the mall. As to going to the mall during this time, I felt all the cleaning precautions are being met, everyone in masks and plenty of stuff to buy. JC Penny, Macy's and Nordstrom are the main anchors and Lord and Taylor still there with going out of business sale signs everywhere. Most stores seem to go out of their way to keep customers safe by limiting the number of people in the stores. Sorry to see the Garret's closed but many other sweet bakery shops available as well as several coffee shops. This is a very big mall so if you are looking for a specific store would suggest you check on line to find out where the store is so you don't waste time looking for it. A couple of stores closed, but not many. Would shop again, if I was in the area.

Escape rooms are a new form of reality gaming where players are locked in a room, provided a mission, and given 60 minutes to discover the way out. Try something different when you play one of our escape games. Find a room theme you think sounds fun, and see if you can discover all the clues to solve your way out of a locked room in less than an hour.
Great fun! Very happy with Covid precautions. We were the only people we saw besides the host. He had us sanitize upon entry and we all remain masked. The room was fun for our family of 6. Only downside to having smart kiddos (tween to 20's) was sometimes there were too many cooks in the kitchen. Hard to follow as everyone was solving things equally. We enjoyed it very much and will do it again for sure!

We went to Medieval Times in Schaumburg in September 2019 with a bunch of other couples. We rode motorcycles from Des Moines to get there. Folks, it was such a blast! The food is naturally gluten free and it was amongst the best roasted chicken I’ve ever eaten. The sides were also gluten free. As someone with Celiac disease I have to be careful and am very sensitive. I can happily say I was not contaminated even by accident. They have a great drink menu as well and cheering on your knight while eating and drinking simply makes for an awesomely fun (k)night! It is without hesitation that I highly recommend a visit to Medieval Times in Schaumburg, Illinois. Be sure to stay over at one of the nearby hotels. We stayed at the Radison and it was also great!

We saw a Whitney Cummings here and had a great time. Plenty of parking in the area. Lots of food and shopping options in addition to the club in the area. They had a pretty good system for getting people in and out. And they had one of the best waitstaff before and during the show that I’ve had at a comedy clubs. Prices are high for drinks and food, but that’s a Chicago for you.

In the area sight seeing and came across this free place. My family really enjoyed it. There was so much to see. I think it's great that they showcase our native service members. They offered beautiful artwork for sale, as well.
