Staying here was a highlight of the Coast To Coast walk. A wonderful welcoming B&B with first class facilities, superb showers and a drying room for wet boots (most welcome!!). As for food, the sourdough pizza that I had in the café below the B&B was a gastronomic treat. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat !

There's a small charge of £1 for adults or £2.50 for a family but it's worth this charge as it's a lovely space. There's interesting information and interactive displays for children. The staff fed the creatures in the tank and talked us through what the creatures such as crabs, prawns and fish would do. It was fascinating to watch and to hear from the staff who obviously are passionate about what they do.

Producing fresh handmade chocolates, novelty figures and a mouthwatering selection of chocolate bars in our small factory in the heart of Hutton Le Hole. We have a range of Diabetic chocolates and ALL our products are Gluten free. Come and watch the chocolates being made while you decide what to treat yourself to!
Visited a few times whilst in the area on holiday over the years. Had given up on chocolate as the well known brand (beginning with a C ) has tasted awful recently. This chocolate however is divine and I was so pleased to discover I could order online as I live in Cheshire. The Turkish delight block is my favourite .

We made a point of only using local businesses on our long weekend in the bay. This great little shop sells..... everything!! Breakfasty things, fresh bread, newspapers, booze, chocolates, picnic foods and even beach toys made up our shopping list. Very friendly service, the lady who served us on our first visit recommended the best places to eat and visit. Beats Sainsbury's every time!

Decided to visit here after watching Bangers & Cash on TV. What a splendid ever changing museum as some of the cars on display are in the next auction. The Owners and staff are lovely people and obviously being on TV has not gone to there heads. Some absolutely stunning vehicles and motor cycles as well as lots of interesting memorabilia. The very small admission fee goes to Charity so well done to the Matthewsons and staff as i am sure when they are busy visitors will get in the way. I spent a couple of hours here and thoroughly enjoyed it, I could of amused myself for longer but wanted to have a look around Thornton le Dale which is a lovely village then have a bite to eat and walk to Pickering.

Amazingly atmospheric little church and graveyard both abandoned but still beautifully cared for. Great guides for visitors to use, lots of local history, really get the flavour of the area.
