Taste Knutsford is a walking food tour of Knutsford. On any particular tour you will visit around 9-10. All are dotted along Knutsford's narrow streets. You could be sampling brunch, charcuterie, ice creams & sorbet, tapas through to afternoon tea & gins (we weren't joking when we said you would come away full). The mix might change with the seasons and the restaurants involved but we aim to please

By far my favourite bar, both for drinking in or takeaway, the owners and Matt have worked tirelessly throughout this tough year to serve the local community. The selection of ales are fantastic both off the shelves and on draught. A real credit to the town. If you are ever feeling a bit down pop in to Dexter and Jones and you will definitely leave with a smile.

Hi, I'm Habiba Chowdhury, Welcome to School of Spice (formerly known as My Curry Club) I want to share and inspire people with the Bangladeshi & Indian food I grew up with. I love to teach & share what I know, have a chit chat and a laugh on the way. The best way to learn is through having fun! Let me guide you and help you simplify the amazingly chaotic world that is the 'Indian' kitchen and the multitude of flavours it has to offer.
Myself and my brother had one of the best experiences in the luxury couples class on Saturday 29th August and I know for a fact it won’t be the last class we will attend! Due to Covid, we didn’t know what to expect but we were instantly made to feel relaxed. Everywhere was so clean and the whole set up was very professional. Habiba herself is just fantastic! She is so knowledgeable, approachable, welcoming and attentive teacher. The whole experience was one to remember and if you are looking for a special gift or just something to do for yourself then you will not be disappointed.

A unique University of Manchester collection of 18th & 19th Century British paintings, decorative arts and grand interiors. Cheshire's hidden gem!
This is such a lovely tea room, a quiet unusual oasis away from other local town centre cafes. There is an interesting selection of teas, with the Turkish apple and peppermint being my favourite. We always go for the homemade scones with homemade jam which are just perfect. The quaint China and teapots make it extra special, (my favourite is Hamlet!), and an added bonus of a generous 2 cups of tea each. Owners always genuinely pleased to see us, so glad we discovered this place.

Knutsford Heritage Centre is the best way to discover Knutsford and Elizabeth Gaskell’s Cranford. Changing exhibitions tell the story of Knutsford and its people. Official Walking Tours of Knutsford run every Friday afternoon (at 2pm from May-October. The Centre also houses the famous Knutsford Tapestry, measuring 52 metres it took 4 years to complete and involved 3,000 people in the stitching. It captures the architecture and every day life of Knutsford in the year 2000.
As well as the astonishing tapestry, which the lady volunteers told us all about, there is a touching memorial to local soldiers killed in WW1 and a pretty courtyard garden kept up by one of the gardeners from Dunham Massey. If you want to find out a lot about Knutsford, this is for you. It is a small place, not suitable for very large groups.

I just love the fact this place isn’t a multiplex! Love the foyer, can get a coffee rather than just gallons on expensive soda! So much more relaxing and enjoyable than one of the big chains. Cinema size is smaller, sound and screen quality excellent. Always a great choice in my opinion and they have good rotation and film choices. Do watch the two hours on the car park though!
