A historical mosque in Kashan, Iran. The mosque was built in the late 18th century by master-mimar Ustad Haj Sa'ban-ali, the mosque and theological school (madrasah) is located in the center of Kashan. It was here where Ustad Ali Maryam as a pupil started his career as a brilliant architect.
This is a beautiful structure built with great challenge. The spiritual atmosphere of the building surrounds you right after entering the structure. the adobe and the tile works are phenomenal considering the century it was built. Right across the gate, there is a terrace that sees the main dome. you see the garden of the structure below you which stresses the size of the whole building. loved it!

The oldest art gallery in kashan's bazaar oldest caravansery with shahneshin(alcove) that has a full dominant view to the whole carvansery. We have unique carpets and killims and visual arts and handicrafts and we are a showroom with exhibition.
Visited twice during winter 2019 and bought everything from ceramics to an antique carpet. Prices were very fair and the service offered was top notch. The shop even took care of shipping my carpet to Europe at an extremely favourable rate. Prices are fixed, the staff speak excellent English and the inventory varied and very appealing. Most definitely a place to visit if one is in Kashan (or even Iran). Can't wait to return!

The bazaar of Kashaan is an old bazaar in the city center. It's thought to have been built in the Seljuk era and renovated during the Safavid period. The bazaar has famous architecture, especially at its Timche-ye Amin od-Dowleh section, where a grand light well was built in the 19th century. The bazaar is a few miles in total length and houses shops, baths, tombs, mosques, arcades, and more.
The old bazaar of Kashan is an old living thing. It is historical and up-to-date at the same time. There are lots of souvenir shops from Persian carpet shop to hand-made pottery and other shops. You can not only buy souvenirs but also can walk and watch the art of Persian masons. The great old bazaar of Kashan is the best place to capture pictures for your Instagram.
