Historic building that dates back to the 18th century that traces the period from the Spanish Conquest to the Revolution.
Outstanding. You will be welcomed in front of the museum, with help in buying the tickets for admission (50 pesos/person, cheaper for seniors). The person who helps you will offer a tour of the museum, take the offer. The guides are very knowledgeable, and clearly love what they're showing you. I offered a tip at the end of our very helpful tour through the exhibits, which our guide very graciously but definitively declined. So, a donation to the museum. Which is quite wonderful.

After many visits to CDMX this was my first visit to Sagrada Familia. The first church built in Colonia Roma, it was completed in 1925 after construction was interrupted for several years due to the revolution.Being part of a Church pilgrimage tour, we had the privilege of having our priest celebrate a private mass during our weekday stop. Breathtaking in its beauty, I specially loved the Gothic construction and the stained glass windows.Next to it is the Museo Padre Pro, a Jesuit marthyr and master of disguise executed during the times of religious persecution. Quite a Jewel in famous Colonia Roma.

The tour started with downstairs temporary exhibit of a marvelous abstract painter with the most glorious colors. We enjoyed the work so much, we returned a 2nd time. Upstairs are some great pictures of different terrains of Chihuahua state and other types of displays as: Theatrical people from Chih., brief history of Mormons here, sculptures of Anthony Quinn, early and Mata Ortiz pottery just to name a few. The building is beautiful, full of light and has some good look out points. It is a manageable size so does not take too long.

The Quinta Gameros is a gorgeous construction very well maintained. The Art Noveau furniture collection is just amazing. The dining room set is just out of this world. The house is also used as a cultural center for the University of Chihuahua, a very nice scenario for the enjoyment of book signings and concerts. Its a must-see while visiting the city of Chihuahua.
