Once a cozy fishing village of only a few thousand people, Bodrum has experienced a renaissance in the last half century that has transformed this once-sleepy community into one of Turkey's most popular vacation hotspots. Writers, intellectuals, artists and musicians have long called this Aegean town home, or second-home, attracting a vibrant cultural scene paralleled only by the town's nightlife. Windswept beaches and glittering waters provide the backdrop to the perfect beach getaway.

Spread over three levels, our world-class spa enjoys a wonderfully nurturing atmosphere, enhanced by our excellent facilities and uplifting views over the Aegean Sea.
The spa at MO Bodrum is beautiful and well worth a visit. The after-treatment area where they serve tea with a view is absolutely divine.

We sell any kind of leather jackets. We can make also special orders. Leather trousers, skirts, dresses.
The staff were very welcoming and patient while I tried a few different styles of jacket on, offering their opinion of what looked best too. They said small adjustments could be made to the tailoring - for example the length of the sleeves if I desired. No need though as I found the jacket I was looking for and loved it just the way it was so it was time to barter, make sure you do too as the ticket price is negotiable. Overall a great experience shopping with them and the quality of product is very high!

Etrim Weavers Assocation is one of the leading retailers of hand knotted and flat woven Turkish rugs and kilims. Based near Bodrum we offer a wide selection of handmade products from all around Turkey. We intend to protect and spread the heritage of weaving by creating concrete connections with our visitors from all around the world ensuring their experience is full of the riches of our traditions
This tour to the village of Etrim took us back in time hundreds of years. We met Engin (sorry if I’ve spelt it incorrectly), his grandmother, father, mother, sister and her family. We were welcomed into the small, rustic and very rudimentary Turkish house where his grandmother lived when she married Engin’s late grandfather. The people of this village are self sufficient. They keep cows to milk, sheep, goats and chickens, and the women weave carpets. We saw how they produced exotic colours for the wool from the products they grew in their gardens. We watched in awe as they spun the wool then weaved it. Then over a glass of Turkish wine or local coffee, we were stunned by the beauty of the completed rugs. Engin related the stories of each rug - the particular designs and colour schemes, and the deep love and respect he and his family have for them. We could not leave the village without one of these works of art. We will cherish it forever in our home in Australia. What more can I say? It was a wonderful day with intimate access into the magical world of traditional Turkish carpet making.

I love wine tasting, and when I found the opportunity to do it in Bodrum I hopped on it! A small family winery which operates from the basement. I took the Dolmus bus there from city center very easy and only 3lira or 40 cents. I emailed the host to see if I was the only one who booked and I was which I was OK with it. When I arrived she had invited her friends and we had such a great time, meetings locals, having good wine and conversation. She said I was the first guest since March. We had such a delicious mezze cooked by her mom. A true local experience to end my trip in Turkey! And her friends were so kind enough to drop me off in the city center as well. And best believe I brought a bottle of wine home! The price is a bit steep compared to the Turkish Lira but in US Dollars was worth it!

Karnas Vineyards is a beautiful vineyard located 25 minutes drive from Bodrum and is home to the first vineyard to plant the Zinfandel variety in Turkey. It is a boutique winery where the award winning wines are produced by a family in its own single vineyard using traditional techniques. Guests are welcome to visit the farm, olive orchards, vineyards and attend wine tasting and food&wine events.
This gorgeous little charming vineyard must be one of Bodrums best kept secrets! My daughter had arranged & booked this as a special birthday surprise for me during our week long holiday in Bodrum Turkey. We were picked up promptly from our hotel, Our driver was very polite and knowledgeable, giving us the history of the villages we past through. Upon arrival we were met personally by the wonderful chef and host who explained and showed us the machinery/process of the wine and about how the owner in her retirement came to making the delectable wines. We were given our first glass of tasty rose wine and were shown to our seats in the dining room where the open fire was lit and the views/sunset from the terrace were amazing. The food was absolutely fantastic paired with awesome wines, especially loved the goats cheese and the homemade Lemoncello! Here i will admit to not being a great lover of red wine in the past however the Karnas Red Zindafel Wine completely converted me. Overall this is a truly enchanting memorable experience and i highly recommend everyone to visit Karnas Vineyard at least once!

The Best Sound System, The Best Karaoke Pub, The Best Cocktails in town, Any Sports Facilities shown live...
I love to sing .... and even before we came on holiday I asked in a Bodrum forum where was the best place for karaoke and the unanimous result was Memories and Horribles . Because of covid I wasn’t sure if it was going to be on so I message on messenger and Mehmet replied instantly letting me know their opening times etc . When we got there on the first nice it felt like meet up with friends !!! All the staff were super friendly and welcoming . The sound for the singers amongst you is amazing!!! Any song you want to sing they will find it . It’s good for couples , families and the solo traveller , because even if u are on your own everybody is so interactive at karaoke you feel included . We went pretty much every night of our holiday for a couple of songs . In covid times they totally disinfect the mics etc between singers so u feel safe . The drink prices are very reasonable too . Thank you to mehmet and the lovely staff for making our holiday a good one and see u again soon xxx

The museum was a delightful discovery in Bodrum. It gives you an oversight of the city's maritime history and the displays of the various boats and ships and the story of the owners through text and historic photographs is fascinating. The museum is located over two floors and easy to navigate and displays are also in English. On the second floor is a huge and amazing displays from seas shells from all over the world. They are all beautifully displayed and the lightning is perfect. Downstairs is the museum shop with a good variety of items. It is near the yacht harbour and not far from the castle. Closed on Mondays.
