The Rex has one huge screen set in a glorious 1938 art-deco proscenium with the sharpest film projection and clearest non-booming sound anywhere in the world. Throughout, its seating is big and soft. It has been called luxurious. It is better. It is civilized. It reminds us of what we have long stopped expecting from public buildings.
Been a few times and it's always a treat as Berkhamsted is not close to our home. Love sitting down front at a table and getting a cheese and crackers plate. Staff always friendly at box office and bar. Every time I go I wish all cinemas were like this.

Here at Ronnie Sunshines Berkhamsted we have three fantastic indoor gun ranges for you to enjoy. With over 100 targets to shoot at we promise you won’t get bored. Ronnie’s range is suitable for everyone from 12 to 112, beginner or an old hand, you won’t be disappointed.
I can’t recommend this place highly enough.. great stock of everything you need.. David gave my 8yr old daughter a better rifle and some shooting advice and tips on the range and within minutes she was shooting like a sniper.. she absolutely loved it and I can see us being regulars at the range..

I went to Cecily Day spa for the first time today. I had an appointment for an ear piercing with Gina. Gina was so lovely and put me at ease straight away. She was knowledgable, efficient and I felt completely comfortable even although I was a bit nervous coming in.

We are regulars at the potter project and we have always been welcomed with open arms. The kids have been painting there since they were tiny (now 9 and 5) and they love it! The staff are always really helpful if you're struggling and need some artistic creativity. The coffee and cake are fab and it's a lovely few hours to spend quietly concentrating on your projects!

Only dropped in because shopping had taken longer than expected. Beer was fairly priced and well kept. Food menu was shortish but adequate and the food itself was properly hot and didn't take long to be served. Waitress and bar staff very helpful
