Janosikove Diery Gorge is one of the most beautiful hiking trails not only within National Park Mala Fatra, but the whole Slovakia and Central Europe. It is located in nature reservation Rozsutce and the valley river is forming numerous waterfalls and rocky formations. The hiking in this valley is possible via imposant wooden bridges and ladders.
Janosikove Diery is very beautiful and dangerous place in Slovakia. You have to be prepared. Dont mind others walking around in the sport shoes, because there are more than one way to discover this beautiful place. Keep in mind, its deep in the forests, so temperature is lower than everywhere else, plus constant humidity makes some places quite challenging. Proceed slowly and take your time (and breath). Gorgeous views are waiting for you. You can travel with small children if carried in the carriage. Some parts are accessible only via ladders and due to humidity, they are slippery. Think your way trough before start, get a map and pick the track you think you can conquer. Take as many charged batteries for your camera and video camera as you can carry. No regrets over 100+ photos and 20+ videos I made. Even if not recommended, I drank the water from the well. I live, so you will too.

So peaceful and calming. Great place for photography especially the blue hour. Managed to see a fox around which stared at us quietly and disappeared into the woods. Really loved the visit. Worth it .The train ride up was really cute too .

Historic neighborhood filled with charming narrow lanes, burgher's houses and nobles' palaces in addition to many of the city's important buildings such as the former Palace of the Hungarian Estates, the late-Gothic building of the Academia Istropolitana and the Leopold de Pauli Palace where Franz Liszt performed as a child.
This has to be one of the most beautiful cities I've ever visited!! Stunning architecture, narrow streets, beautiful churches, amazing people, excellent restaurants, culture, it's all here. I only had a few hours in Bratislava but it's now on my 'city return list' of long weekend holiday destinations!! There's just soooo much to see and do!!
