The Bayeux Tapestry was kept here from the 11th to the 18th centuries, probably displayed for the first time on the day the cathedral was consecrated in 1077 in the presence of William the Conqueror.

We climbed slowly up from the town and enjoyed the views along the way. The church and the bells are lovely. Historic and meaningful. The views and flowers are lovely. Recommend this outing.

this is an absolutely magnificent place to visit. Amazing view and such a charming little village. Lots of shops and restaurants to visit and some amazing photo opportunities! You'll love it in Honfleur!

A small village best visited in high season as it seems to shut down through the winter months. It has an intersting selection of shops, like an old-fashioned toy shop and a mix of clothes and food outlets. The creperie is great for daytime lunches or a sweet treat using local ingredients. There's plenty of parking.

Spent an afternoon on this long stretch of white and beach in Trouville-sur-Mer in July 2019. There were some cabanas and rainbow coloured umbrellas dotting the beach. Short walk from the cafes and Monoprix. There is a small counter service to buy snacks and waster. Facilities were clean. There are beautiful historical homes bordering the beach and a nice wooden boardwalk.
