We hopped over to Batam from Singapore which is so easy and fairly cheap to do using BatamFast. We then enjoyed lunch and half a day spa at Tempat Senang which was brilliant. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. We were picked up by them from the terminal, a short ride to the hotel/spa. We chose our lunch and treatments. They do a mixture of western and Indonesian cuisines, we opted for local options and they were all delicious, portions are great sizes. We then had about half an hour before being whisked off for our treatments, I was delighted that each treatment was an hour long - I had a Balinese massage - AMAZING, a facial - AMAZING and hot compress - AMAZING. The staff were very professional and I felt very relaxed. My parents joined me and also loved it, the spa accommodated a separate room for me which was perfect. We didn't have time to use the pool as needed to catch the ferry back but honestly I thought it was some of the best treatments I have ever had. I would go back in a heart beat. Thank you to the team at Tempat Senang - great value for money and brilliant time!

The service is excellent! It’s unbeatable - they provide free transport from batam ferry centre to the spa and you can do your shopping after the spa, just let them know the time you wish to head back to the ferry terminal after you’re done, they’ll fetch you back to the batam ferry centre! They also have free food, snacks and drinks provided at the spa. The staff and bosses are super friendly. The masseuses are skillful too. This is the best spa I’ve ever come across ever!

When I entered this spa I felt like in Bali. All ornaments are Balinese style. They have many facilities like jacuzzi and sauna. But I only had like one hour spare time before having another meeting. So I just tried a Javanese massage. I was welcome by Ucik who briefly introduced me to this spa and treatments they had. Then I chose Javanese massage. She served me herbal drinks, ginger tea as I recall. Then a therapist, Muna came and walk me to the treatment villa, not just a simple spa room. It was half open air, beautiful. Then she start to give me Javanese massage after showing me the villa facilities such as change room and shower room. I enjoyed her strong pressure for about an hour. It was really great to ease my muscle tension. An hour felt so short. But it was great. Latter on I went back to the reception desk and greeted by Irma while asking how the treatment was. I filled comment card while enjoying lemon grass drinks. Like a five star service spa they had.

Popped over to this spa just before I returned to Singapore from a business trip to Batam, massage is great, ambiance of the spa ia great and the free transpott to pick me up from hotel to ferry terminal was just icing to the cake. Thumbs up! Will highly recommend Kalea Spa. I had 2 hours foot spa and additional ear candling. Good ones!

This is my second time going back to reborn. The first was end of last year. I had therapist kino for both times. You just need to tell him your pain areas and he manage to massage away all the pain while checking to see if the pressure ok and reminding me to enjoy and relax. Have a totally relaxing two hours n when I go to Batam again , I will go back and look for him.
