Bear Mountain Ziplines

Go ahead, get carried away...at Bear Mountain Ziplines in Luray, VA. Our Mama Bear Zipline tour includes 7 ziplines, for a total of 2700 ft of line racing through the forest canopy at up to 35 miles an hour. The last 1000 ft stretch brings you out over a meadow to land on the tower above our 3-story Bear Scramble climbing wall. Your trip starts with a rustic ride up a mountain road behind the tractor, where you’ll get comfortable with the zipline safety gear and procedures on the training zipline. Our professional guides have all been trained according to Association of Challenge Course (ACCT) requirements. We can confidently offer a safe as well as invigorating experience. We also offer a Bear Scramble climbing wall. Scramble up our 3-story climbing wall to ring the bell at the top. Our wall has multiple ascent paths and accommodates two climbers at a time, so you can come with a group and race your friends to the top! Access to the wall is available in half-hour increments, giving users many chances to improve their times, or try out a trickier path up. We use a state-of-the-art auto-belay system, allowing climbers to use the wall unassisted and rappel down under supervision by our certified guides. Please note that participants must weigh between 70 and 250 lbs and be at least 8 years of age to participate in the Mama Bear Zipline tour. Crack The Code Escape Room

What is an escape room? It's an interactive real life escape game in which you must solve the puzzles in order to escape the room. You have 60 minutes to find the clues, solve the puzzles and make your way to freedom. Are you up to the challenge?

We scheduled Crack the Code Escape Room as one of the team building activities for our recent work retreat. Of the group, only one of us had ever done an escape room before, so we didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were interesting, challenging, and helped us build rapport, communication skills, and problem solving skills as a team. Beth and her employee were awesome. Just the right combination of professional, capable, and fun! Highly recommend for team building exercises. Everyone of us said we would go back with friends/family. It was a great start to the retreat!

Luray Caverns

Discover Eastern America’s largest and most popular caverns. 4,000,000 centuries in the making, this “must see” U.S. Natural Landmark is noted for the profuse variety of formations and unsurpassed natural color. One hour tours from well-lighted, paved walkways lead visitors through cathedral-sized rooms with ceilings 10 stories high. Enormous chambers are filled with towering stone columns, shimmering draperies and crystal-clear pools. Also in this subterranean wonderland, “hear rocks sing” as you experience the haunting sounds of the world’s largest musical instrument, The Great Stalacpipe Organ. Completely unique are the beautiful tones created by this one-of-a-kind instrument, which makes music of concert quality from the surrounding stalactite formations covering more than three acres.

My best friend was there 30 years ago with her parents and couldn't wait to bring her son and me and my daughter there to see it and as soon as we went down the steps into the cavern, I was in awe of the beauty that this natural wonder is. Our tour guide, Phillip, was a very knowledgeable and friendly young man that answered every question we asked and even have us some great ideas for where to hike in Shenandoah Valley when we asked him. The food concessions were very reasonably priced and tasty and the prices in the gift shop were surprisingly reasonable as well. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone.

Skyline Caverns

Caves in the Shenandoah Valley that feature anthodites, rare rock formations.

Compared to Luray these caverns are much more real! Small spaces at times, beautiful lighting, only a mile walk! Our tour guide Christina was excellent! She was well informed, funny, and had a beautiful singing voice( you’ll find that out in one section of the cave) We learned so much about the history of the caverns, the rare formations that are here and only a few in the world! Everyone in our group respected each other’s space and there was no problem with social distancing! The tour guides are allowed to accept tips and Christina deserves a big one! The gift shop has great clothing, glassware, rocks, etc. to choose from and things are packaged nicely for safe transport in your car. These caverns are a must see, and don’t forget to ask for tour guide Christina!
