Bali is a living postcard, an Indonesian paradise that feels like a fantasy. Soak up the sun on a stretch of fine white sand, or commune with the tropical creatures as you dive along coral ridges or the colorful wreck of a WWII war ship. On shore, the lush jungle shelters stone temples and mischievous monkeys. The “artistic capital” of Ubud is the perfect place to see a cultural dance performance, take a batik or silver-smithing workshop, or invigorate your mind and body in a yoga class.

Second time to Nusa Penida, first time to the east side. I am in absolute awe of how beautiful the place is, white sandy beach, clear waters. The short hike is quiet steep, definitely worth every step.

Hikers will enjoy climbing this volcano, and the rewards of the views into the crater and of the crystal clear waters of Lake Batur. (Note: visibility may be limited during the rainy season, Dec.-March.)
The top of the volcano is a fantastic place to see the sun rise well worth the hike ???? A organised trip from the hotel with transportation and a very reliable guide well worth the the trip

Telaga waja river is the most challenging river in Bali. Telaga waja river rafting is located in Muncan village, Karangasem, which can be reach by any transportation
We had 4 adults and two teenage boys who all loved the rafting experience. We booked at a stand in Legian near the Bintang supermarket for $30AUD each which included two way transfers from our villa, 3 hours of rafting and lunch at the end. The river is beautiful and the rapids were great fun. Not too dangerous but still exciting and the drop over the dam wall is awesome. You get to stop at a waterfall to take pictures and have a drink too. Lunch afterwards is nothing special, just a buffet with rice and noodles and a bit of chicken. Still good to eat after a long time on the river. The only down fall for me was the 2 hours drive to get there.

Beautiful volcanic mountain in Bali island. I was almost trekking up to the peak but due to the weather we had to cancel and wait for 1 day. The next day we climbed up and it was worth of wait.

Sekumpul Waterfall is touted as the most beautiful waterfall in Bali. It is fairly close to Niagara Falls Lemukih, only about 2 km away. Understandably, the Village and Village Lemukih Sekumpul indeed neighbors. To see Sekumpul Waterfall close, it takes a bit of effort and struggle. From the parking lot, you have to walk quite far away, down a dirt road, down the hundreds of stairs, and across the river. When you ride a motorcycle, you can still ride from the parking lot (near the ticket window), to the end of the road paving. After paving the way out, the road turned into a narrow dirt road (footpath). Not long down the path, you arrived at a blank bale (gazebo) with Niagara Falls Sekumpul incredible lure.
Skip the tour guides and proceed to the route , plenty of signs so you can’t miss it , ticket costs 20,000 per person , Nice and easy route to waterfall which takes about 15 minutes, enjoy the view

The USS Liberty Wreck is the most famous dive site in Bali. It is also one of the best sunken ship wrecks in the world! If you come to Bali, you absolutely have to dive there The liberty ship was hit by a Japanese torpedo then was beached near Tulamben. In 1963, the eruption of Mount Agung caused the vessel to slip off the beach, and it now lies on a sand slope in 9 to 30 m of water. The wreck is about 130 m long with the shallowest part at about 5 m deep and the deepest on the other side of the wreck at about 30 m deep.
A great wreck to dive for all levels of experience. Just a short swim from the shore and you will find a very well preserved ship. Shallow enough for beginners and interesting enough for the experienced diver. Only downside is the amount of traffic due to its accessibility.
