Mission Bay Aquatic Center (MBAC) is an instructional watersports facility owned and operated by Associated Students of San Diego State University and UC San Diego Recreation. Students at those two universities are provided a discount on programs, but the center is open to the public. MBAC is one of the world's largest instructional waterfront facilities. Last year over 25,000 participants experienced wakeboarding, sailing, surfing, stand up paddling, waterskiing, rowing, kayaking, and windsurfing at MBAC.
