Bustiello's mining village is an exception within the Asturian industry heritage. It was built between 1890 and 1925 by Sociedad Huellera Espanola, an important mining company of the industrial group and a Marques of Comillas' property. The Sierra Pambley Foundation is a non-profit institution dedicated to educational activities in the province of León (Spain). It was created in 1887 by Francisco Fernández-Blanco y Sierra-Pambley, Gumersindo de Azcárate, Francisco Giner de los Ríos and Manuel Bartolomé Cossío.The Foundation’s activities have always been guided by the spirit of the Free Institution of Teaching (Institución Libre de Enseñanza).
