There was a lot of information given about translating the different versions of the Bible into the various languages around the world. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Always eager to answer any questions and offer assistance when they can. There is a cafe and gift shop at the center that’s reasonably priced. Different groups were there doing tours but it wasn’t very crowded. There’s something for the adults and kids and I liked being able to translate my name into several different languages. That was cool. Definitely recommend.

I frequent the adjacent Orlando Shakes Theater quite a bit so I intended on visiting this Fire Museum sometime in conjunction. A friend was with me at one afternoon Shakes event and afterwards I said, "Let's go to the Fire Museum!" He agreed and we did. I have quite a few firefighters in my family and they would love it. It is staffed by volunteers who are ex-firefighters and add a lot of personal insight. This is an old firehouse that was moved here to house the collection of old fire vehicles and equipment. So fascinating to see what rough tools they had back in the day! Judging by the reactions of children present that day, kids would LOVE this! The big surprise was when someone pulled a cord and a fire siren went off! Yikes! We squeezed our visit in at the end of the hours, but I would go back for a better examination of artifacts, not to feel rushed. Definitely an educational experience for kids and adults who like history. Kudos to our first responders who keep us safe. Sorry I don't have any photos!

Marvel at hundreds of rare and unusual artifacts and get hands-on with unbelievable interactives at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Orlando. Inside, you’ll be greeted by 10,000 square feet of amazing, hair-raising, truly unbelievable exhibits. With 16 unique galleries and hundreds of displays, there are artifacts, interactive experiences, and just plain weird stuff sure to entertain the entire family!
This place is fun for everyone, it features many cool things like optical illusions, Guinness world records and more. I would not recommend this place for people with vertigo as their is many parts such as the uneven house, the spinning tube and many things that could cause people to feel dizzy. I would go again though!

World class art throughout includes paintings, sculpture, multi-media art and artifacts created by a wide variety of artists from around the world!! So happy that we had time for the OMA and look forward to exploring other museums in the area the next time we visit!!

The Holy Land Experience brings the heroes of the Bible to life through exceptional theatrical Broadway style productions and educational exhibits within an immersive biblical atmosphere for guests of all ages.
We left our condo after mid-day; unfortunately! We needed the entire day for this venue. We took our 6 year old grandson with us, wondering if he would enjoy it. He was blown away, and never once complained about the 90 degree weather. Much of the walking around was outside, but we were thrilled to attend the plays depicting the life of Christ and His apostles, which are scheduled throughout the day. We were given a schedule, but had missed some of it, due to our later arrival (our fault!) Yes, we are Christians, and yes, it was more or less based on the Bible account (with some poetic license afforded), but the overall mood was inspiring, and the singing was outstanding! Our grandson opted to "train with the Centurions," so he took up a shield and sword, and followed the commands of the soldiers, taking the battle stance and cry! He was happy to get his Certificate and become one of Caesar's legions, that is, until he realized later on that the Roman soldiers were responsible for rounding up Christians and sending them to the arena to be eaten by the lions!! When we returned to Atlanta and went to worship on the following Sunday, he did not want to give his Certificate to his teacher, but rather chose to lead the song, "The Battle Belongs to the Lord!" We enjoyed the well-organized, authentic period style of both buildings, costumes (including the Soldiers, Pharisees, and citizens), and everything about the theme park. The refreshments were welcomed, and we purchased gifts in the shop. We intend to return there the next time we are in Orlando and do a more thorough exploration of what the park offers. The price was discounted to us, since we were staying at the Westgate Lakes Resort, not too far from the venue.
