Cultural Center of Ensenada

Housed in an old casino, this center contains space to be rented out for public events, but also has a natural history museum that can be seen for US$1.

Great place to visit - may be hard for some people because of the stairs up and down. You have to pay around $6 US for 2 to see. Takes about 1+ hours and gives the history of the area to include pictures of the early missions, either in ruins or still operating. Spend some time to see and understand, very interesting the history of more than Ensenda Within walking distance of the Cruise port - head out to main road and go right across street.

Museo de Cera

Reviewed By jonbI6345OM - Portland, United States

If you can find the time, take it! This is a great value for the money. With pictures from the 1920's of Old Tijuana, along with wax figures of international fame, it is both historic and humorous. Men, women, and children will all enjoy themselves with the various wax figures and exhibits. There is a "Chamber Of Horrors" exhibit that may be a bit much for the "faint of heart", but most folks will find it fun, perhaps even laughable! Not only do I recommend it, but I will go again myself the next time I'm in town. Taco Bell (no relation to the American fast-food chain) is across the walkway from the museum and I highly recommend eating there either before, or after, your visit.
