Enjoy a breath of fresh air at our Huddersfield hotel. Situated in the heart of the Yorkshire Pennines, it features our super comfy new generation bedrooms, with an impressive 40" flat screen TV, freshly-updated bathroom with large shower head, and brand new, slumber-inducing, king size Hypnos bed. With great transport links on your doorstep, you will wake up ready to explore.
The location of the hotel gives you a clue and the triple glazing is needed. However I slept with my window open and had absolutely no problem sleeping for 8 hours. This will definitely be a marmite type hotel. I would certainly come back again. The people there are fantastic. The rooms are as you'd expect them to be and the 'breakfast to go' does the job. Use this place as a base to explore the area, not as somewhere to stay during the day.

Loved it there, place is spotless, staff are great and the locals were friendly. Sky tv, excellent juke box with darts and a pool table. The breakfast was great and we thoroughly enjoyed it there, it’s a bit of a walk up the stairs from the station but a pint was great when we made it. We stayed here when going to watch the football.

Stayed here for 2 nights to attend a family wedding in Barkisland. We booked 4 rooms. The hotel is lovely- we had a big room with en-suite with a bath. Check-in was quick and easy. There is a free car park just behind the hotel which is handy. The staff are lovely. The bed was comfy. Only thing that I can complain about is the breakfast during weekdays, it is a continental breakfast which they leave in a basket outside your room door. There was a chocolate croissant, yoghurt, pot of porridge, 2 pieces of fruit and a bottle of orange juice, however, there was only enough for one person not two as they had made a mistake on our room, so we went out and found a sandwich shop which is just located over the road at the traffic lights. The breakfast on the Saturday was lovely and served from 10 am which is fab when you want a lie in, good choice. Would highly recommend!

Chris and Bev are very welcoming and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Very clean and comfortable. Awesome breakfast! Good location to explore the Worth valley railway, Bronte country, Keithley and Bradford.

Considering the price of the room for one night, alongside a mandatory £200 security deposit, we expected a lot more than what we got. Upon arrival our room was nice. We stayed in suite number 303, it was set out really nicely so we decided to relax a bit before getting ready to go out later that evening. The sofa in the room was really uncomfortable so couldn’t really relax. Instead I went to lay on the bed, where when I looked up was met with lots of cobwebs above my head. As I mentioned before, a £200 security deposit and almost £120 for one night I expected the cleanliness standards to be second to none. Went to go and take a shower, realised the bathroom lock did not work, and there was solidified tissue stuck to the ceiling of the bathroom. Turned the shower on and the only options were apparently scolding hot or freezing cold. We spent most of our evening taking pictures/videos of everything that was wrong with our hotel room worrying that they would think it was us and not get our £200 back. Went to make a cuppa and realised a panel in the kitchen was completely missing? Took me a while to fall asleep but once I did I was woken up multiple times at really early hours of the morning by lorries travelling up and down the small side road where the hotel is situated, unloading deliveries and emptying bottle bins at 5:30AM and then almost every hour til we had to check out at 11. This didn’t bother my partner as he is a heavy sleeper but it woke me up multiple times, meaning I did not have a good sleep whilst staying here. The staff we met on the reception were really lovely and the complimentary bath robes are decent, other than that I’m not sure we would stay again.

I would highly recommend these apartments which are a short walk away from Foster Square Station. Prime location and a clean, very comfortable and relaxing stay! I was away with my partner and could not have picked a better location. Staff were friendly and a call away if needed.

My partner and I stayed for 2 nights in May 2022. The 'team' working here are friendly & welcoming - continually checking throughout our stay that all was good. We had dinner 2 nights, and breakfast 2 mornings. The food is wholesome and very well cooked and presented. The room (Grouse) was big, clean, and quiet - with its own front door, and a log burning stove (and very tasty home made brownie left to eat with the room tea/coffee). On the Friday night there was (terrific) live music in the bar. The room is remote from the bar so we could hear no music when there. Wonderful walks close by - the Pickled Pheasant provides a booklet with details of all the local walks. Highly recommended!!

What a great little place! We were going to a wedding at the nearby Mill. Rooms were great value and actually really lovely and clean! Staff did everything and more to accommodate us. Breakfast was superb and staff bent over backwards to cater for some of the fussy members of our group. Thank you for making our stay such a pleasure.

This hotel is great for the price. The owner was friendly and welcoming and the place was very clean and tidy. I found the beds comfortable and the room had all the basic facilities. I would definitely stay again if I'm in Leeds.
