I stayed for 3 nights during November 2019. The property is in an excellent location, just behind the Cathedral and near to many good restaurants. There is a tour agency (MexiGo Tours) and a laundry shop nearby (named "Hydro Speed" if I did not remember wrongly). The hotel staff speaks limited English (use Google Translate!) but they are very helpful, especially the lady receptionist. She assisted to arrange for a taxi (Taxi Lira Tours) to take me to Ek Balam, Rio Lagartos and Las Coloradas. It was a wonderful day trip! The room is spacious, clean & new but sometimes abit damp. There is also no breakfast provided at this property.

I discovered this place after 2 nights without the A/C in a hostel and I regret my choice for the 2 first nights. If I knew I booked directly with them ! We arrived with no reservation and ask for booking a room, the first contact was super ! One Mexican with a very good English that’s awesome ! The room is clean and everything is very nice in the room. They explain you everything in details. WiFi is working good also ! Outside you can find water, toasted bread, tea and coffee all day long, a nice terrace and a swimming pool. They don’t hesitate to say hello or asking if everything is fine when they see you. You understand after that is a family house with guest rooms inside and you feel like a friend invited and that thing is priceless ! You can talk with them a lot, they’re so nice ! They could advise you some places to visit or to eat. The entrance is in the center of Mérida, 150 maximum of ADO terminal and so quiet at the time ! Thanks to the all great family ! Keep going ! All my best wishes for the kitchening studies of the young son! We didn’t want to leave !

I stayed one night at this hotel but wish I could have stayed longer. I was welcomed and given a tour of the room in English. The room was very comfortable and they even provided us with free water and beer in the fridge. The shower worked well and was hot with great water pressure. We parked our car within the locked gate at night. The wifi worked perfectly. We had a very peaceful night as the air conditioning until kept us cool and it was very quiet all night. In the morning we had a home-made breakfast including tamales, bread, fruit, fresh juice and coffee. We had a wonderful stay.

I stayed in Casa Azul for two nights. I had a warm welcome of the very nice owners. They made me a lot of recommendations for my stay which helped a lot. They were available for the entire time when I had questions and wishes. The rooms were clean and breakfast good and healthy. I would definitely recommend the hostel and hope to see you guys again. With bests, Amir

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Staff really responsive, helpful and friendly. Rooms are very large - huge comfortable bed with wardrobe and drawers. Good shower pressure with hot water - soap and shampoo is provided. The garden / pool area is fantastic. Really beautiful space with tropical vibes, lovely decoration and hammocks/ lounge beds to hang out on. Good breakfast provided with eggs, toast, pancakes and fruit. Staff were cleaning constantly so felt very covid safe. Location is right in the centre of town - easy walk to colectivos and you can rent bikes / scooters from around the corner. Also, great value.

Would recommend Casa Chi 100%. We stayed for 3 nights in the bungalow on the top floor. It’s a cool experience to stay in a urban hut. It was simple but comfortable and with a nice private terrace. The owner Josue is the most helpful guy we have met during our travels. He drove us to cenote Oxman and later to the bus station. Anything you ask he’ll help you. He’s sincerely kind person and made us feel very welcome. Thank you!
