It is in an old fully restored post that stands today this small charming hotel & tea room, in the heart of Auvers-Sur-Oise. Located opposite the Ravoux Inn, also known as Van Gogh's House, just a stone's throw from the Château d'Auvers-sur-Oise, the Hôtel des Iris welcomes you all year round in a warm and cozy setting. Composed of 8 rooms and suites, all decorated with care and personality, you will discover a tasty mix of impressionist touches and contemporary modernity. The tea room offers a selection of Nunshen signature teas, succulent Mövenpick ice cream, and delicious home-made pastries.
Located right opposite Van Gogh’s historic Auberge Ravoux , this beautiful hotel is run exceptionally well, with comfortable beds and fantastic breakfasts. We had a blow-up of the painting ‘Starry Night’ covering one wall as a bonus decoration in our room. Highly recommended.

Reasonably priced basic modern rooms. Hotel is quite remote and restaurant and bar is closed at the weekends, so not ideal if u arrive late in the evening. No local bars or eateries. Taxis were not available, tried for up to an hour. Decided to walk to station, 15/20 mins. Not the best idea, we felt really intimidated. Lots, of what appeared to be immigrants in the surrounding area of the hotel. Felt unsafe so returned to the hotel. Had to use our car to drive to nearest town, which meant some members of our party were not able to drink.

We spent a night here on our way from Calais down to Toulouse. Well situated not too far from autoroute. Secure parking. Great welcome from Josephine - complimentary glass of wine on the terrace. Advice on restaurants and walks in the town. Rooms were lovely (we were 4 in two twin rooms) - breakfast was perfect. We'll defrinitely visit again!
